Shadows are those things we see out the corner of our eye and when we look it vanishes. Thoughts? I've seen shadows a few times, most recent would be about a year ago. Not sure what I think about them, but they aren't optical illusions and such. IMO they're some sort of living beings.

I've heard that you can see more in your peripheral vision, it has something to do with the relaxed 'rods and cones' in your retina.

You can see auras easier if you look 'past' your subject, and have a kind of non-focus thing happenning with your eyes...

You can't see more in your peripheral vision, but the black/white sensitive cells are predominant there. Cone cells register colour, but are less sensitive to light, and are consentrated in the centre of your eye. The Rod cells are more sensitive to light and change, and primarily detect motion as they are useless for coloured vision. That's why the rod cells are mostly at the outer edges of the retina. They are a protective measure against predators or any other surprises from the side. But believing that there are spirits or entities that wait until you turn juuuust right before appearing, and that they never fail or slip up, and disappear again in an instant... seems a bit far fetched, no matter what your belief is on the spirit world.

To believe that what you are seeing are ghost. I think you would need more evidence or happenings to be convinced.
