The power of this great telescope is unbelievealbe capable to see millions of light years away. However NASA will not release images of the moon? Is this because they found artificial structures on the moon not man made? Or is it a ploy to monitor what these alledged creatures are doing and pass it off to the public as what we currently precieve it as ( a big telescope which is made to take pretty pictures of our galaxy)?

Well maybe there are a few pics that NASA can release, however, I have read that many structures have been found on the moon.smile.gif That picture you gave me kind of looks like an evil face.

As far as i know, the Hubble was designed to look into the deepest reaches of space, not for use in our own backyard, so to speak. Although many pictures of objects in our own solar system have been taken. Many people/organizations have 'leased' time to use the Hubble for their own research, at great expense and NASA must honor these leases. From what I read, all of Hubble's time is 'bought up’ by these organizations. NASA does have it's own time though and if NASA deems it an emergency they will take control of the Hubble. Who knows, maybe a group of people will ’pool’ their money and use the time to take Moon pics. Peace and love~rore

Kinda looks like our moon has been pounded with all sorts of space debris for an incalculable amount of time...

I'm going to say......no.

There is nothing important going on on the moon, most earth-based telescopes can see that...Hubble is just another telescope when looking at the moon. Hubbles' purpose is to take pretty pictures of FAAAAR-AWAY places.

Bear in mind that the same face of the moon always faces Earth so we have no idea what is happening on the dark side (stupid Star Wars... /angrilyshakefist).

I have a whole book full of anomalous structures and pics on the moon...

this is actually not a new theory its been around for a while - carl sagan wrote about in the 70's

Apparently there are people at NASA who are employed to airbrush out any 'anomalous' objects in the images they collect. They had to work overtime with all the photos brought back from the moon, but apparently if you look in the reflections of the astronauts visors you can see stuff - I'm not sure if it's alien cities and UFO's, or the studio lights and stage crew...

I dunno about airbrushing photos.

If you look at the political climate, a public alliance or communication with some aliens on the moon before the other, or a major discovery, would probably be an excellent way to lord over the Soviets.

But they never really show the pictures... They pick some of them, 3, 4, maybe 5 and show. When they actually could show and explain everything they know. Yes, why not? We have the right to know too, we all live in the same planet. Same thing with pictures of Mars... I find it all very suspicious.

*The picture of the Moon, from the link above: What kind of picture is that? A little square showing nothing. Why not post the picture on it's original size? If to big at least post the picture smaller, but on it's original frame.
And don't forget, that their satellites are able to take millions of pictures, and they have millions of pictures of the Moon and Mars and Venus and Jupiter and f*ck knows what else, because it's all a big secret... A big filfhy secret.

I have felt that way ever since the Apollo Missions. The video they sent back was Crap on Apollo 11. What did the world actually see? I was truly disappointed. Sure they took some great shots with the Hasselblad still cameras, but so few photos with them.

Why didn't they do better on the next missions. All that trouble to get there and they skimp on visual documentation? Then the next thing you know, were not going back any more. I was heart broken.

What's the real reason for not going back? Or are we and the public just doesn't know? Were we Warned off the Moon like some have claimed? I have no idea or answer to that. But you can't help wonder why.

What I can't understand is that we have Space Telescopes of all kinds in orbit. We have observatories all over the planet. Satellites that can read your license plate.

But we don't have detailed images of at least the side of the Moon that faces Earth? WTF is up with that? I find it hard to believe we can't photograph every inch of the Moon. Right down to objects the size of a basketball. And if we can't do it from Earth then put a satellite in orbit around the Moon and do it.

How hard would that be? Or is the reason it isn't done because there is something to hide? I mean there could be ancient ruins up there like the Pyramids. Wouldn't that be incredible. Maybe it's something that would shock the planet too much I don't have a clue.

It just seems odd that the Moon is so close and I can't even find one Really detailed photo of it anywhere on the net.
