In the book "Alien Rock," Michael Luckman writes:

"Rock's superwoman, Tina Turner, has a secret of cosmic proportions. Tina reportedly is a devotee of Zecharia Sitchin, the distinguished biblical scholar who has studied the Sumerian, Babylonian and Egyptian civilizations and concluded that humanity owes its very existence to ancient space travelers who may be returning to Earth in the near future--quite possibly within our lifetime.
Tina, who taught Mick Jagger many of his famous dance steps, could have told Mick and the rest of the Rolling Stones that they had nearly stumbled upon the outer space Holy Grail when they picked "Bridges of Babylon" for the title of their 1997 album and tour. The fierce lion reared upon his haunches on the "Bridges of Babylon" CD cover is virtually identical to the proud-lion sculptures that guarded that ancient city. Babylon's "cult of Marduk" held that superbeings who looked human came down from Marduk, a planet often identified as Planet X, situated way beyond Pluto, and jump-started the human race by combining their DNA with the DNA of primitive man." :alien:

I wonder what caused Tina to become this devotee?
