So it's Halloween, and it always seems that the ghost videos come out of the wood work this time of year.

So here for your viewing pleasure and scrutiny I present the ATCO ghost!

As always, I'll reserve my opinion until a few people have chimed in so as not to influence any one.

I think its an optical illusion of the camera but hey it could be real.....

I always wonder why ghosts wear clothes. Do shirts and pants have a soul too?

could be, although travelling at any speed over 10kph that reflection would dissapear in almost an instant..it's very interesting to say the least..but i must also conclude that just before the image of the so called "ghost" i thought i saw a figure on the side of the road..the right side that is..perhaps that is the reflection since he described it as soon as the car passed under a street light..but it's also at night..so im at a bit of a loss..

Hehe....yeah imagine a ghost jumps out to scare you and then realizes it's naked....oh the embarrassment.

I'm not sure where ATCO is. I know we have an Atco here in New Jersey. There's a pretty good race track there if you're into drag racing. I'm not sure if this was filmed in the same place though. I will say by the accent's on the guys filming it could be Jersey. :shrug:

i have my cynical head on this morning:

the guy claims, "I did not see the boy when filming the video but was surprised when I watched it at home."

if this is true, then why did the camera swing round to the left just when the "shadow" appeared?? :headscrat

I might give it a shot. There are so many darn places with stories in Jersey. It's hard to get to all of them. If any of you read "Weird NJ" magazine (I think they have a "Weird U.S." now as well) you know what I mean.

When I first saw the video, that's what I assumed was the ghost for a brief moment. But it could be anything. Our brains are just very eager to spot human characteristics in everything we see.


The audio is clearly from inside the vehicle, not added later. In other words, it's likely he was talking about a previous video clip, perhaps the one he first spotted the phenomena. The phenomena itself being either light and shadow play, or for real. If I were driving around, filming, I may not have been able to spot a ghost kid either at first glance
