Ben wrote me a song but he hasn't had a chance to record it properly, so we decided to video him performing it for posterity (and just in case he carks it and I never get to hear it again!)

Erm... the book isn't coming along because Mr Attention Deficit has been doing other things lol. The song is lovely but Ben has been sitting here moaning about how many mistakes he made and that was only the first take etc etc. I think we're going to film it again tomorrow and do it properly. I dunno about my editing skills - I was trying to include those thought balloons without Ben seeing them to ummm...surprise him lol, and I had to keep minimising the window as he walked by or he'd be wondering why I was including a sheep in the video!

If we ever get the video done properly I'll post the link here.

The little sheep was smiley-looking and actually had its head cocked affectionately in Ben's direction...master stroke, Lucy. You looked and sounded really nice, Ben, and as always, Neil Young's voice sounds kind of like yours.

That was awesome Ben!! You rock man! I wish I could sing and play at the same time, but then again, I just wish I could sing! I'm doing some acoustic stuff at the moment with a friend of mine who has the voice of an angel - she's absolutely amazing! Maybe I should film it and let you guys have a look?

P.S. Is that an Ovation guitar you're playing?
