What is going on??????? Some of it is called the weather mate. Annoying isn't it? Some of it is called geoleological disturbances, annoying isn't it? Some of it is related to astronomy, annoying isn't it? All of it has happened throughout history and will continue to happen, annoying isn't it? You could always just stay in. Ben |

All that is, is a cannibal that's what. It is always creating conflict so it can feed off of it. Read some David Icke he will explain the matrix to you.

i don't think the happenings on earth are anything even remotely significant when compared to the rest of the universe. so how is this an example of the universe building towords something?

What is going on? Nothing more then what has been happening all along. The creation of the inter-net has simply made the information of these events more aapparent to you. We live in an information age where you simply are finding out about these things faster. |

The sun expands at a Nanomolecular rate i think, until it loses its Hydrogen, Then burns Helium casuing the rapid growth

I agree, terrible things are happening far more frequently. Don't let those little things like the Plague and the Black Death that were going round in the Middle Ages fool you, millions of people dying and entire towns and cities dying of disease, the opression of the poor, constant bloody wars and revolutions and an average life expectancy of 30 is nothing compared to the horrors of a meteorite that killed no one hitting Christchurch
Jebus Christ some people are stupid. |

Hasn't anybody here seen the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore. All about global warming and the polar ice caps melting. And I know everybody is going to come on here and say that there is no such thing as global warming, but sorry; I live in the north and if you ask anybody in this town about the weather they will tell you it's global warming.
It's raining in December, which is nuts. I'm glad the price of gas went up, and I hope it keeps going up. It's the only way people will start looking at alternative power sources. Polar bears are drowning because the ice flows are melting. We are running out of time! |

Global warming is a fact. The dispute is how much of it is influenced by humankind and how much of it is natural. Because the consequences of a study showing this or that are so grand, that there's much suspicion around any study being objective in its findings. What we know is that there's more CO2 in the atmosphere today than there has been for aprox. 0.6 million years, and that the over all surface temperature of Earth has risen by 0.6 °C (or 1°F) since the late 1800s. Even small changes like that have enormous consequences for everyone.

What is going on??????? I believe an end is near. But this is all just the natural cycle of events that occurs in our universe. You know, The same night the Great Chicago fire occured, an entire town of people in Wisconsin had perished. Some believe the Chicago fire wasn't started by a stupid cow but a meteorite shower. These things happen. In the past, it has shown that entire villages were killed off because of meteorites when they rained down on people. It's happened before and it will happen again. Only this time, with the population as high as it is, It might be tens of thousands of people or an entire city. |

Droso...thats a good point it is likely humans are helping it along a bit....but bear in mind there were no ice caps during the time of the dinosaurs when the average temperature was approximately 10 degrees centigrade higher than today. |
