I have heard once (and if you can find proof, lovely, if you can't, not important) that different kinds of abductions statistically happen in different countries.

For instance the short grays in the U.S. are more common, the Reptilian is more common in the U.K., the tall Grays are more common in Asian countries. (correct me if i'm wrong please)

Hypothetically, assuming if this is correct, would it not point to psychology rather then a physical abduction? I mean, if we consider the stereotypes of the hard working American vs. the small intellectual gray. Or the European elegance to a scaly barbaric reptile. I'll let you infer what you will about the Asian vs. the tall gray.

In order for this hypothesis to be accepted, two things must be considered (beyond the assumptions i have already stated)

1: You must accept that stereotypes hold a certain truth to them statistically and that the values they imply upon a nation are taught and accepted by individuals in a country.

2: That such Nationalistic theories can bring a conditional fear that this fear manifests itself in dreams.

I don't intend this so much to disprove the existence of aliens or abduction as i don't think i or anyone could ever do that as of yet. This is more, for me, a theory whose strengths and weaknesses need to be analyzed in the discussion of alien abduction and whose consequences coincide rather then correspond with the existence of abduction.

i do understand where you are coming from, however i did not know that there had been statistic research on this matter.

I mean, if we consider the stereotypes of the hard working American vs. the small intellectual gray. Or the European elegance to a scaly barbaric reptile. I'll let you infer what you will about the Asian vs. the tall gray.

This i can't se any logic in tho.
Hard working American?? is that really something they have been known as? never heard of that stereotype.

European elegance?? you do know how big and diverse Europe is?
One of my sisters ex boyfriend was american, and when he visited us in Norway he once told me that they thought of Nordic people as drunken hordes.
And knowing how our drinking culture is, especially when we are on vacations, i have no problem seing as how they got that image. Not saying that we are drunken hordes tho.
And if you asked me about german stereotypes i would answer, tourist dressed in a lederhosed stealing road sign's and collecting moose crap.. WHAT!??
Unless you are from Norway you probably have no idea of what i am talking about.
I will not drag this any longer, but my point is.. Europe is to diverse to have a stereotype.

Short Asians with little or no driving skill to a tall grey with enough driving skill to make it to earth.
How is that for a stereotype?

No, Aliens are not raciest. Not to us atleast. Psychology would be an acceptable place to point. But if you go off that assumption alone, you will never get to the bottom of what is really going on. How about a 50%/50% split?

Aliens are partly racial and people are partly influenced by psychological reasons. That would be a little more acceptable.

1: you've never heard of the concept of the americian Dream?....okay..

2: As intrested as i am in your "sisters ex boyfriend" oppinion of nordic people or your personal stereotypes towards other european countries, it really has little to do with my theory. European elegance, a coloquialism that has been in the common venacular of television on since the first important hand bag was advertised, refers to the romantic mystique that revolves around countries like the U.K., France, Italy ect. I'm glad you can tell me 101 names to call a Welshman, but it's not what i am refering too. Sorry for your confusion.

3: Taller people statistically command more respect than shorter people. It would make sense for a nation that is has shorter people would be more uncomfortable with something uncommon like something taller. But that just might be me.

Yay! Here in England we should get drunk aliens... lol. I'm a short 5'3 person and I can tell you that I'm respected. Your actions make who you are and not your size. Anyway, maybe the aliens do have bases and territories around our planet... As far as I know the Zeta beings are everywhere, the reptillians maybe.

Nordic people being seen as drunken hordes are not just the opinion of one guy. It comes from the fact that when people hear the word Viking, that is often what they think, add that up with our drinking culture today and you can easily get that stereotype.
Ask anyone from spain about Norwegians, and you will get the answer drunken hordes.
And "my personal stereotypes towards other european countries" as you said it.. well, you got it wrong. My example of the German stereotype is NOT my personal opinion alone.. It is a well knows stereotype in Norway, And as i stated, you would not know what i was talking about unless you where from Norway.

What i was trying to get to is not only that Europe is to diverse, but also that different cultures has different stereotypes depending on their relationship with other nasions

I think you point out something important (not about size, but that is a good point). It is that people don't know what is on their own planet? Why is it that people can't seem to just look and see? Do you have aliens in your room? If you don't know, just look and find out. I am not insulting you Beer Maiden, just making an example.

It is amazing how much people don't use or trust their own perceptions. Or accept other people's perceptions over their own. To be honest, you don't have a better source of information.

This is the only way a person can have integrity, making this a sad planet if people don't use their own perceptions. However their is one thing that is required (believe it or not) and that is that you look. Only then can you trust that you have in fact seen.
