For a while now, I've had that feeling (again ) that something was going to happen. Mind you, I've been predicting the end for years. At one time, I thought it was going to be November 1997.

A few points I'd like to bring up:
1) I've often stated that I believe the end of the world is kind of like the Death card in Tarot (which actually indicates, not actual death and dying, but change), or that quote from the philospher Seneca and the music group Semisonic: "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." I've sometimes wondered if the world perhaps is actually ending every day and that our predictions of global catastrophe might not actually be merely a perception of change in the world.

2) I recently came across a video on You-Tube:

It should be noted that this was right next to a video predicting the end of the world on 9/2006.

3) I have a theory that sometimes ideas are kind of like radio waves, in the way that it sometimes seems to me that there's a sort of global consciousness, that the human race sometimes seems to tune in for a second and act on a larger scale, that sometimes something as simple as a joke or as radical as a new invention sometimes springs up in several places simultaneously and independently, as though people in different places, all at the same time, suddenly had the same idea. I see it in the way that sometimes it seems that, although everyone (as usual) is wearing different colors on a particular day, more people seem to go for one particular color, like the way that three out of four coworkers one day all showed up in blue shirts and khaki pants. I relate this to the phenomenon of bees dancing. Each bee does a little dance to communicate to its neighbor, who then passes it on. The question is: do the bees realize that they're doing it? My question is, could it be possible for people to communicate ideas, one to one, like a chain letter or a virus, without realize that they're communicating?

I bring this up because sometimes its weird how we get these ideas. I remember once that my Mom freaked out a little because my aunt and I both predicted an imminent earthquake and devastation, an early signal we both said of The End, and we both independently placed the earthquake about the same time. The earthquake never came! However, it was interesting that my aunt and I had the same idea at the same time, even though we hadn't spoken in years, and the only common link was that my mother had spoken to both of us.

Still, the question comes: I've been having a 'feeling' about August 2007. Other people are having it too. Has anyone here been having it? Where is this idea coming from?

I beleive that humans do create their own "fields" like electromagnetic ones, but not obviously.
These can be help by other people, and sometimes carry your thoughts... the feilds can be weak and only effect within a few meters (Ever been in the room with a sad person? even if they don't show it, you feel a little down anyway), or sometimes extreamly powerful and effect on a national scale.
As that earthquake thing, we've all had that, I get it happen like 4 times a month n it feels freaky. (Not with earthquakes though.
Hmmm August, y'know now ya mention it, I do get the feeling somethings gonna happen, but oh well, hope what ever it is, is more good than bad.

I don't know about the end, but I think that alien encounter (Official, not the unofficial stuff already happening, the first apened to the public.) or WW3 may start soon.

I don't know how many of you know about the Mayan calender... It ends in Dec, 2012. Which many people theorise represents the end of the modern civilised world as we know it or something. Anyhoo - I was reading some article by a university proffessor and his thoughts are that the original interpretation of the calender is wrong. That it is infact this year, Dec 2007 that this calender ends.

Perhaps whatever will happen, will begin in August. Pretty damn scary if you think too much about it. Especially when you've got babies....

The most viable piece of evidence is obviously the source of the original photo, which is left out. Have other sources filmed said mountain writing? Surely they have, with the consequences that it entails.

I'm not going to loose sleep in August....there have been at least 7 or 8 end of the worlds that I have lived through (since 1980)...so no need to worry.

Yeah, that's what I don't get, why August this year? All I feel is a small tempature degress rise here that is warm - I said too much about myself for now, oops. Anyways, I don't see what the big deal is if some words are ona volcano, I bet it's a prank or something, I don't theink hte world ends this year, or in my life, if it does I'm writing a large complaint.
