What do you make of this. Does it fall into that "The image is so good it must be fake" category? It's interesting whatever it is? If it's fake somebody has a good imagination.

I agree that it just looks to good to be true.

However, an interesting detail that he said was that the first image was taken via cell phone, hence the graininess. The rest were taken via a real camera, thus the good resolution. So in that sense, it seems genuine. But, it's gotta be fake somehow...

Also, the resolution on the object in comparison to the trees looks too good. An uneven distribution of pixels.

Can't see it well enough to read it, but some of the writing on the wing panels looks like it might be Japanese Katakana.

I noticed that as well. Looks almost like something from Final Fantasy to me...

Looks cool what ever it is.
Its funny that what we want most is good clear daylight pics, given the camera and video technology of the day, there should be no more questionable pics.
And when we get those pics, we tear them apart to prove them fake.
I wish we could see the real thing, without a doubt!!!

Amazingly compelling images, but like the consensus seems to be.....too good to be true.

I's gonna get to a point where looking at pixels and such won't work anymore.

Cool images though.

I'm in the 'too good to be true' camp.

Having taken plenty of photos, I'm no expert, but I'd have thought that the bottom of the craft facing the ground would appear darker. Especially with the bright sunny sky behind it, usually what happens unless you have a really good camera or a filter, is the sky gets blown out (turns virtually all white) in order for you to capture the details in the shadows. Since the bottom of the craft appears so detailed and clear, yet the sky still appears blue, it looks to me like someone did a nice 3D rendering then photoshopped it in without considering hiding the shadow details first.

the writings in the forth picture are NOT Japanese. i know both Chinese and Japanese(of course English too) they do look like Japanese but actually they are not if u know Japanese. they might be alien writings or something.

Doesn't any one find the story just a bit suspect?

"Last month (April 2007), my wife and I were on a walk when we noticed a very large, very strange "craft" in the sky. My wife took a picture with her cell phone camera (first photo below). A few days later a friend (and neighbor) lent me his camera and came with me to take photos of this "craft". We found it and took a number of very clear photos."

We found it? Just like that, you go looking and just happen to find the same UFO again? Puuuuuhhhhleeeze! rolleyes.gif

He needed a story as to why there were photographs using 2 different cameras. Unfortunately, his story isn't very good.

It sounds like the guy thought well most UFO pics look like saucers so I'm gonna make this eccentric looking UFO to fool everyone into thinking its real cause who would ever think of photoshopping a strange device like that.

I'd say the artist in question probably has above average IQ

LOL very good point. One would think that something like that would stand out if it were hanging around for a few days.

Its very creative though, very talented Photoshop user!

Well if it is real it doesn't look like anyone is inside piloting it, because if you look at it in comparison to the size of the trees a person doesn't look big enough to fit. Could be some kind of experimental rover type thing? Very strange though.

Perhaps an alien robot and/or remote controlled craft. If so, they are aiming
at revealing themselves in a near future. Military test vehicle? The inscripts
neither japaneese nor chineese perhaps remind of inscripts found from Roswell
and other "UFO wreckages" ? As some hinted earlier, the design is on a level
above what is expected from a fake. If I am totally wrong I blame on having drunk too much wine.
