Now, I've always believed in UFOs, but I've gone back and forth on aliens.

The only 'proof' I've ever believed of aliens was when I read a report on the Roswell crash. They found and took to Area 51 4 "life forms" that obviously weren't human. This led me to the questions, "Where are they now?" and "What were they?" like anyone would.

I'm not sure what UFOs really are since...I'm not sure about aliens. For all we know, they are just aircraft made by the government which go on reconnaissance/data gathering missions around the world, which would better explain the Men in Black and the government denying any relation to UFOs and knowledge of Area 51.

So...let's debate. :alien:

Almost every thread on this forum is a debate...

...I'm aware of that. This a topic dealing specifically on if aliens exist and what ties they have to UFOs. Your post did nothing but state a completely off-topic fact. Either contribute to the thread or don't post.

First of all, WH, you need to switch to decaf. Coming in here as a newbie and then being rude to the very first person who posts to your thread doesn't speak well of your manners or for your skill as a debater. Please feel free to boss around your dog all you like, but a little decorum will go a long way around here.

i agree with skep and by the way the topic of wheter aliens exist is not debatable, they do, if you do some research thats a relatively easy conclusion to come by.

Now let's not be too hasty here. First of all, I agree with Skep on most everything, but let's give the guy a chance. Some people are not well versed on forum etiquette, and he does have a legitimate question.

As for Mandelasdiscple, the topic IS debatable and almost every thread that has to do with the topic is a debate. The reality is we do not know if they exist, because no one has ever had substantial proof.... and please do not waste any of our time debating what "substantial" is. Point is, your statement is false. Just as a statement claiming they dont exist would be false. You are the one, my friend who needs to lighten up.

To answer the question, I am not sure. If aliens do exist, I do not believe they are beings from another planet.

Calm down people...

Anyway, if there's a UFO someone built it. Who? So there you go.

I wasn't rude to him. I merely pointed out his post was rude, off-topic, and thus pointless.

Anyway, back to the topic. Area 51 isn't as secretive as people think; there are many pictures of it, and it's known exactly where it is and most of what goes on there. So why would the government be so touchy and secretive about this place? This also leads me to believe that the Men in Black are government officials employed or not at Area 51 who are sent out to scare off people who get too nosy.

What does anyone else think?

Generally, I believe that aliens exist due to the vastness of the universe.

That they may be here living amongst us, I cannot say because I've never seen an alien.

I've seen UFO's, but I have come to the conclusion that they are military aircraft of somekind.

However, the advance maneuverability of some have me believing that their engineering was part brilliant science and part alien technology studied and implemented from Roswell.

This is all pure conjecture of course as I have no proof to the contrary.

Good points, Goddess.

If UFOs are part alien techonolgy, then obviously the aliens, in some galaxy or planet, engineered it. If so, then they have been here (the Roswell crash,) so what's stopping them from coming back? They may be building up an army, or too afraid to come back.

It's not secretive anymore... it once was (in the 90's), but they do not deny its existance anymore.

the quintessential "men in black" are part of a multinational military force comprised of handpicked personnel from the elite fighting forces and law enforcement agencies of the free world. primarily this venture is honchoed by the US DOD and involves all branches of the US armed forces. the US's primary contributor to this program was and may still be none other than the Special Forces Operational Detachment DELTA... aka Delta Force, which recruits from all branches of service but more so from the army.

the relavent facts are that one of this unit's operational specialties is the safe-guarding of USAF's top secret 'aircraft'. their jurisdiction transcends borders (no matter how the UN or congress feels about it) because it involves black ops, that means they don't have permission until it makes headlines but they go ahead anyway. and they can be deployed to any position on the globe within a matter of a few hours. (probably less) it remains a clandestine arm of the military, been around since at least the 70's (that we're informed of), set up as "anti-terrorist" unit.

they have upgraded. no more sunglasses, black suits & cadillacs... they traded 'em in for helos, CQC gear & silnced MP-5's.

CQC = Closed Quarters Combat Gear.

Ok, thanks.

And..yeah, how do you know all that, abadaka?

This makes me think, how do any of us have all the information we do? Should we even know all we do about Area 51, the MIB, etc.?

Hey Seth.

It is my personal belief that if these beings exist, they are demonic in nature and are spirtual beings that have taken on physical form.

All I have to say is that over my 8 years of hardcore research, I have found many reported UFO sightings from highly trained military personal and commercial pilots. Reports of large metallic disk shaped, cigar shaped, etc, UFOs that defy what we could possibly have made here on Earth.

Sometimes the UFOs hover right next to a 747 and are larger than the 747.

Not to mention the tons of civilian reports. Most of which come from people who are not crazy.

It's a fact that the majority of UFO sightings are natural phenomena, secret aircraft, etc, but about 20% of UFO sightings since the 1940's can not be explained. That's enough for me to say perhaps some UFOs are of alien origin.

To think we're the most advanced life form in the Universe is crazy.

I think certain people within the U.S. Military and other powerful Militaries/Governments of the world know the truth, but have simply denied knowing anything. As long as they flat out deny, the majority of the general public and the media will believe them. Thus keeping the full truth from coming out.

It isn’t so secretive now, that’s for sure! As recent as 45 years ago though, Area 51 was a complete secret, hidden from the US public. This is the area, where we now know, the SR-71 CIA Spyplane was tested back in the 1960’s. Among other top secret projects.

In retrospection, it is not surprising why the CIA, NSA et al would be so ‘touchy and secretive’ about this place. As far as I know, it is still a place where Top Secret research is conducted. ~rore
