where did the image of little "green" men come from? why green? and does anyone else get annoyed each time they hear some skeptic refer to them as little green men?

Why must everyone see little GRAY men? The traditional Little Green Man from Mars had antennae. The little grays do not. Different species? Maybe not everybody gets taken by the same aliens. Maybe they WERE green fifty years ago, but are now gray. Who knows? Don't be annoyed. Be open to other possibilities. Aliens in the 1930s were green. What can I say?

i think the question is why not green or gray? They should have like rainbow aliens, thatd be cool. Or cotton candy yum.

I get annoyed that people are always saying things about them like "aliens " like it's some sort of fact when we truely know nothing.

Exactly. People like to make up illusions for things they do not quite understand. Only the government could give us an official statement of the skin tone of [certain] aliens, but we shouldn't hold our breath for that information...
