I decided just now to make a little thread to list things Ive seen as I see them. The area I live in seems to have a great deal of UFO activity at certain times, I saw something today and rather than just forget about it as I often do I decided to just write.. or type. Its spurred on by the interesting activity of what I saw today.

I was walking my family dog today and after seeing that a field nearby had recently been cropped and was suitable to give my dog a run, I decided to alter my usual course and take my dog on the field. At the other end of the field I stopped to look at the sky and clouds.. i tend to do this a lot, I am an avid skywatcher.. not for UFO's or whatnot, I just love to watch clouds and think on the beauty of it all. The sky today was unusually nice.. cloud formations, a hint of red in the sky.. all the makings of nice scenery.

Anyway, after a minute or so of this I saw a white shining 'spec' in the distance, it was moving quite fast. As I watched the shining dimmed to a lesser glow.. though it continued at the speed it was going. I watched it for a few moments, and by this point i was realising it was not a normal aircraft. I looked down after about a minute and a half for a brief moment and looked up again, there was nothing there. I scanned the sky in the area for another minute or two to no avail. There was nothing in the sky.. not a single aircraft. It was at this moment i became convinced it was not a normal aircraft but a UFO. I am reminded of the stealth technology they are reputed to employ.

Why it chose the moment i looked away to vanish I dont know.. though it brings up some interesting thoughts.

Rather than create a new thread, I want to merely type up something that was both unremarkable and yet inexplicable that occurred the night previously.

I have been pretty lucky lately and have avoided seeing anything that could not be explained away with a rational explanation until last night. I awoke at 3am feeling too hot, so i decided to open my window to let in some cool night air. As I opened it I glanced around my neighborhood.

Previously I made a post detailing the appearance of a glowing ball of light that I saw drifting around my neighborhood. This was in a similar vein to that, only this time It was stationary, and much smaller.

To put it in simple terms, I saw a point of purple light, kind of like a star. It was hovering in place halfway up the wall of a house. It reminded me of a star because it was pulsating and making the twinkling-like motions a star in the sky does. As I watched, after around 15-20 seconds, at which point I had decided it was out of the ordinary and out of place, it slowly started to collapse in upon itself and fade away as it grew smaller and dimmer, before vanishing. I checked the spot it appeared on this morning, and there was nothing there: not a security light or anything that could have caused it to appear.

I have no clue what the lights I see around this place are.. but it does leave me feeling slightly unnerved. I wish I had thought to grab my camera phone, but in this fay and age I dont trust pictures I see online anyway.

That first object you saw while you were in that field, could it be that you simply could not find it?
I have seen aircraft highup and after I look away and go to look back I have a hell of a time trying to focus on it again/finding it.

There is the possibility that i could not find it again. At the time as I said, i assumed it had merely vanished, I spent a long time looking for it again.. and with it being a shining spec, I am fairly confident that if it had still been there, I would have seen it again. The sky was pretty clear, the occasional cloud but none near the object or in its trajectory.
