Hi i havent actually started a new thread here before so hope this comes out right.
One night a few years ago, my father told me I used to speak to an old lady in my bedroom at night when I was a small child. This was apparently when I was around 4-5 years old, my dad mentioned this to me when I was about 18. Apparently I used to have an old lady come into my room as a kid and she would sit on my bed with me and we would talk. As a kid i must have mentioned this to my parents, probably not thinking anything was out of the norm.
I dont remember any of this, But i wish I did. My dad isnt the kind to make this stuff up, and i thought maybe i just had the whole experience in my head, but why would i have an old lady as an imaginary friend?
I have written off the possibility of it being a dead relative (both my grandparents at the time were alive, and I didnt really have any other older relatives (none that I would have known, and were dead anyway)
Any thoughts on this? I just wish I could remember for myself

I've heard stories of kids that have imaginary or ghost friends when they where younger that they would play with and everything but usually it was a kid ghost or imaginary friend that they would play with. Don't think i have heard a story of older people as ghost/imaginary friends.

yeah thats why i think its strange, why an old lady?? I just cant see any reason for it, especially if it was just an imaginary friend (i havent been renowned for doing that!) I dunno, just a weird one.

It is possible. Younger kids can be very sensitive to seeing Spirit. They lose the ability as they get older... well, most do anyway.

It could have been a passed relative, it could have been someone tied specifically to that house. It may have been a Spirit Guide. This is something though you probably will never know unless she starts visiting you again.

if you ask this in a alien forum, expect wierd anwsers, to be honest it's just human nature to imagen stuff like this at an early age. When i was little i use to be frineds with an imagenary Hyena, no idea why.. :0 i don't believe in ghosts or any stuff like that.. only ET's and i don't think your imagenary friend had any relation to an alien.

I didnt think anyones answers here were wierd at all, and I dont think it has anything to do with aliens either, thats why its in this forum. Yeah could have just been my imagination I guess, thanks for the thoughts guys, have a good one

Its possible that you just imagined someone who, at 4 years old and at the age when kids tend to first start having nightmares and being scared of the dark, would have been thought of as a comforting, safe presence to you...as 'little old grandmas' tend to be...or she may have been a spirit who in life had been a caretaker of young children and simply felt drawn to you at the age...

Thats a theory i can buy.I was terrible as a young kid with the dark, absolutley scared stiff of it (i always thought skeletons would come after me, dont ask why) The creation of a 'caretaker' makes perfect sense, as the fear went away so did the creation.
