I just finished re-reading this amazing piece of work for the 6th time this week, I just cant believe how well it was written, researched and concieved. In my view by FAR the best piece of literature, science fiction or not, in history. Big claim I know, but my god you can only get that sense after reading the books. Anyone else here read it? Id so what are your opinons? Also have you read any of Kim's other works? I read '40 signs of rain' and really put it down at the end thinking 'what was he thinking?'
He makes up for it though with the Mars Trilogy.
Love to hear your favorite characters as well, I know he had a bad side and kinda killed the first guy on Mars, But I loved Frank Chalmers, his last act was one of complete selflessness. Thoughts, comments, anything!
