I had a really fascinating dream a while ago and I just thought I would share it with everyone.

I was an astronaut floating through space but I was not panicking I was relaxed. There was no noise only silence as I flew through the darkness that surrounded me. I remember seeing the moon and also Mars but then something happened to me, I drifted off course and was heading into unknown territory. What was only minutes seemed like hours. I didn't recognize anything, sweat started dripping from my face to the bottom of my helmet, still no noise, nothing but myself and the void of darkness that lay ahead. Suddenly I saw something in the distance, it was like a puddle of water but it was silver, I felt compelled to go to it, like it was calling out to me. I switched on my rocket thrusters and made a bee line towards the puddle of silver, the closer I got the more comfortable I felt. I came close enough that I could put my hand out and touch this the puddle, as I extended my hand forward the shape shifted, what I saw was no longer a puddle of silver but a face. All I could do was watch this thing. As I stared there was nothing but a feeling, it felt as if I was falling and there was nothing I could do, and suddenly it spoke in the voice of a female but it was the most horrifying voice I have ever heard, and it said, "Welcome to Silence!" With that I woke up panting.

I don't know what it means, maybe nothing, maybe something. Thanks for reading.

I believe dreams are our way of coping with reality. I am sure every one has has really odd dreams. I know I have for sure. Changes in ones life can bring on odd dreams .

Wow.. it sounded like a dream turning into a night fright. That had of been frightening as hell. I had a dream like yours as well except the last part. Mine started off that I was in space but couldn't breath. I also had no space suit.. just street clothes. then I was able to breath after what seems minutes of not breathing. But the coolest thing about that dream of mine was the field of view. I felt as if I could see in all directions. Almost like a fisheye camera but without the warped image. Plus, I was riding on these large white box shaped object. I probably had images of that film "2010.." incorporated into my dream.

cool dream! I have found that it depends what you watch last before bed. And everytime I eat Asian food, I have weird dreams. What is in that msg anyway!!
Strange thought, what if it wasn't a dream.

Well, some people do dislike silence and will go insane if left with only silence for so long.

Are you afraid of not being able to talk to anyone for along time and not hear anything?
