Okay, about 6 months ago, I started writing in my journal, and the words slowly turned into scribbles, and then into this. I wrote this stuff steadfastly for about 3 days, then the inspiration stopped and now I can barely copy it. At no time have I had any clue what it means, and no one has been able to identify it. At the time, I was very stressed out. When I try psychic writing, this stuff comes out then, too, but harder to make out. I can only find a few repeating symbols, which I'm guessing my be punctuation marks or linking words like "and" or "or". I'm thinking maybe its like Japanese, where every word has its own character(s). Has anyone seen anything like this?

Sounds like a form of glossolalia: speaking in tongues, only in this case writing in tongues. It's been noted that forms of this have been documented when the speaker/writer goes into a trance-like state, what in religion would be thought of as 'moved by the spirit'.

Several philosophies, taking into account the topic:

(1) You may be 'receiving' the information from aliens.
(2) It may be gibberish, something that seems like writing, but is ultimately meaningless, caused by the activation of the language center during a trance-like state in which, although the part of the brain responsible for language structure is activated, the part of the brain for comprehension is not, thus we speak and/or write something that LOOKS or SOUNDS like a language, but is ultimately meaningless ... no different physiologically from twitching.
(3) It may be the 'original' language known by human-kind before the confusion of languages at the Tower of Babel, a language that remains at the root of our existence, but walled away from our conscious access. It is believed by some groups that this is also the language of Heaven, the common language to which we all revert at death, when our souls, separated from the bodies and the curses therein (including the curse of babbling) are once again pure.

There could be other explanations, but these are the most common, and it may be that NONE of them apply to your situation.

Now, looking at the language from a linguistic point of view:
It's interesting that you change from red to black. Interesting choice. Did you have a conscious reason for doing so?

The style is mostly consistent and symmetrical.

The style suggests a language adapted to ink and paper (in that 'cut' alphabets tend to be more angular, 'brushed' alphabets tend to have broader strokes, fewer angles)

May I ask: are you left-handed?

Did you write top down, left to right?

My assessment:
Lines start at the top of the page and move down.
Characters seem to start on the left side of the page and move to the right.
Characters are drawn from top to bottom (rather than bottom to top), and seem to be mixed between characters drawn from left to right and those drawn right to left (here speaking of the orientation of individual characters). Strokes generally seem to start at the top right and stroke downward to the bottom left, indicating that the writer is possibly left handed. Strokes follow a similar pattern to English cursive, indicating to me that the writer often uses English cursive.

That's just a thought though. I'm no expert.

I saw something similar just last month. Greg Bishop had posted on his blog on just this subject with an example from Roger Leir's website (now expired and up for renewal). Below is the sample.

There was much more. I'll keep an eye open and see if it comes up. It seems close to what you have written and shared in the OP.

And thank you for sharing. I suppose I might ask you what you feel about it or what you felt about it deep down at the time of it's creation...elation? dread? confusion...nothing?

What do -you- think it means...?

It could be anything.
Alien written language...remotely possible.
Past life, memory retrieval through your subconscious... remotely possible.
It is more likely a creation of your subconscious mind or something else.

If you firmly believe it to be Alien, then perhaps it will be confirmed in some way in the future.
Keep it for that reason.

This was written left to right, in horizontal lines from the top of the page to the bottom, the symbols written top to bottom. I DO write in cursive a lot, but I am right handed, which may be why I have a hard time copying it now. I can't remember for sure, but I think I used both hands interchangeably while writing this. I think the color change occured when I stopped writing for a while, then picked up again with a different coloured pen- something I often do. This stuff went on for about 6 or 7 pages, over a course of two or three days. During the time I was writing it, I think I was fairly depressed, and believed spirits or demons to be writing through me. It may just be gobbeldygook, but the way its so symmetrical makes me think some part of my brain I don't often use was working when I used this. The other example displayed DOES look a lot like it, some of the symbols anyway. Thanks everyone, for your opinions.

you should send that to an expert a symbolist or cryptologist or something i don't really know who qualifies for that. but if you feel someone was writing through you than it is probably some urgent or important message. btw i represent the ville too

Just an observation Ahktu, but I noticed the first two pages of writing you have posted are exactly the same. A fascinating experienced you have shared.
