yep, the cammo dudes were there, i think i could see 2 of them in a grey pick up on a nearby hill. i looked through my binoculars only to see one of them looking straight back at me. it was great though, just how i imagined it, and also as a special treat, the local white worker bus that transports local residents drove out right past us! very surreal! there is definately something going on there, i mean a worker bus and the cammo dudes still there?! :alien:

Next day we stayed at New York New York in Las Vegas, overlooking McCarran Intl. I saw the Janet planes leave and come in every half an hour just like the timetable...

Sounds like you had a lot of fun there.
I have been to the North of Nevada and the southern tip.
One of these days I will get to that area.

it wasn't just the visit to the Area 51 gate that was exhillarating, seeing as we stayed the night and there was no light pollution and obviously no clouds, we thought we would take a look at the night sky and that was something to behold. you could see the milky way ( i thought it was a cloud at first! ) and there were some nice space rocks comin' in too. i remember this amazing one that shot straight down and the trail remained for like 10 seconds. i must have seen like 50 come in?!
