Alien Spaceship(?) Shooting Plasma-Like Jets Near Saturn!!

Now this is pretty bizarre! An unidentified object near Saturn was photographed by Cassini, shooting out a plasma-like jet. Incredibly, the subsequent frames do not show the jet, indicating that the object had probably switched it off!! If it was a natural phenomenon like dust emanating from an asteroid or a small moon, then it is inconceivable that this jet of ‘dust’ would have disappeared so quickly in space.

It looks as if the jet has been switched off at the flick of a button!!

Also notice the protrusion at the top (and bottom) of the object from where the jet emanated. Is it some sort of a gigantic plasma gun?

NASA has absolutely NO explanation to offer. What is mentioned in the Cassini-Huygens web page is….

(The Images were) taken on November 20, 2007 and received on Earth November 21, 2007. The camera was pointing toward SATURN-E RING at approximately 1,741,354 kilometers away, and the image was taken using the CL1 and CL2 filters. This image has not been validated or calibrated. A validated/calibrated image will be archived with the NASA Planetary Data System in 2008.

Take a look. The first of the original untouched images is to give you an idea of this object after the beam has been ‘switched off’.…..

So what do you make of this? If you're interested in more of these mysterious and fascinating objects, check out this thread, Gigantic Alien Craft Photographed By Cassini! NASA’s Cover-Up Blown?

I’ve downloaded all these images on my hard drive before they’re yanked off the net by NASA!!

Cheers!

Wow.....looking at the animated gifs it is pretty astounding, but if NASA cant offer an explanation then why was this released to the public?

Nice find!

Interesting.
It seems like there is more and more strange stories and reports coming out all the time.
Maybe this is a gradual preparation.

The effect is called astigmatism.

Astigmatism

Definition
Astigmatism is a condition in which the cornea (the clear covering of the front of the eye) has an abnormal curve, causing out-of-focus vision.

Causes
The cause of astigmatism is unknown. It is usually present from birth, and often occurs together with nearsightedness or farsightedness. A minor degree of astigmatism is considered normal and does not require correction. Astigmatism is very common.

Symptoms
Difficulty in seeing fine detail, either close-up or from a distance

How does this apply to the photos?
What am I missing here?

Do you think that NASA would let an astigmatic lens get sent on possibly one of the most important journeys ever initiated by mankind?

Why not look at the Hubble as a prime example....wink.gif

The construction and launch of the Hubble was beset by delays and budget problems. Then, soon after its 1990 launch, it was found that the main mirror suffered from spherical aberration due to faulty quality control during its manufacturing, severely compromising the telescope's capabilities....Source

But if this lens is astigmatic, evidence of that should show up in almost every photo...shouldn't it?
And if this is the case, why hasn't NASA acknowledged this?

There is something odd about that thing. I got that there are a number of things that could be wrong about this story, I really have no idea what that thing could be. Per the story, NASA "files it away as another unknown". So I get that it could be something silly that produced a nice effect in the camera.

It could also be an alien ship or something, who knows?

Exactly right SD! I'm not saying that the object is definitely an alien ship, however it does look extremely odd.
