Hello UFO community!

I'm a new member here and I'm sharing my most close encounter with a UFO.

I wonder if anybody else has seen the same craft?

Approx Date: Late August 1992
Approx Time: 20:30pm
Location: Winterbourne Stickland, Near Blandford Forum in Dorset, South coast of the UK
Known Witnesses: Myself and 2 others
Physical Trace: Landing markings
Approx Distance from object: 50-60 feet

I was playing football with 2 friends. We were in the road outside our houses.

I heard a low pitch hum or buzzing sound and instantly looked up. Above the trees next to my friends house was a strange looking flying craft. It was incredibly close. We had a good detailed view of the craft.

It seemed to of appeared as if from no-where, I didn't see it descending or anything. It just appeared above the trees next to my friends house. Behind his house was an old grass field and behind that just acres and acres of farmland.

The craft was saucer shaped with a smaller raised central dome. It appeared mettalic in colour and had about 10 large round glowing lights on the lower part of the saucer. The lights alternated red, yellow, red yellow etc. There was very little noise, just a low quiet hum.

The craft traveled slowly horizontally for about 10-20 meters then tilted to a 45 degree angle and descended. We lost view as it disappeared behind my friends house, we knew it must of landed in the old grass field.

We considered going up there to get closer but decided better of it!

A few days later we decided to go and check out the grass field. We found a section of round flattened grass exactly where the craft would of landed and the same size. Also the grass had yellowed and seemed to be dieing. It didn't grow properly there for years.

This was my first UFO craft experience. I had no previous interest in UFO's, this was the event which has sparked a life long investigation into the phenomena for me!

Since this event I've done regular sky watches and have seen numerous UFO's. I will recall my other accounts here at a later date. None of them, were as magnificent as this one though because in this case we were so close to the craft.

I never heard of anybody else seeing it but I didn't ask. Its not something that is commenly talked about, especially not by the small minded farmers in that village.

The bushes and trees would of blocked any view of the craft once it was landed but it was surprising at the time how easily this thing got away with landing so blatently and no-one batted an eye-lid.

I didn't know what to do either, I told my parents about it and they were quite disturbed because I never lied to them. They were the ones that told me the term "flying saucer".

I didn't have any idea what it could be. I started getting books out on UFO's from the library and I realised that was exactly what this thing was.

The big question was where did it come from? And what was it doing landed near houses in a small village in the middle of no-where?

There was acres of open fields around our village, it could of landed where nobody would see it at all. I have to wonder if maybe somebody in one of those houses is getting abducted.

Do not believe all the abduction hype.
True abductions are few and far in between.

It could be that they needed some samples of a particular soil type or plant.
It is anyone's guess.

thats true. It seems anybody with a case of sleep paralasys is claiming abduction nowadays.

Its not a good thing because it futher dilutes the truth in a sea of hoaxes.

You've probably seen them already but heres some really good cases of abduction. I think most of these are probably true as they all have good supporting evidence.

Yeah, I am familiar with almost all of them.
Your experience is unique. Most sightings are just nightime light(s) or a daytime object from afar.
My sighting was in early afternoon of 1965.
It was not nearly as close but was impressive.

I think the photos a hoax.

There was another event about 4 years ago where I saw a giant red ball in the sky.

I was in a skatepark at the time, at night, in summer. There were about 30 people there that all saw it. 1 of them was a good friend of mine who didn't believe in UFO's but this converted his opinion.

It appeared huge. I can't really think of how to describe it for comparrison but imagine roughly double the size of the moon. Just a giant red ball sat in the sky. At first I thought it had to be some astronomical phenomena that I hadn't seen before but it started to behave strangely.

We saw a plane and it appeared to be on a direct path towards this ball. As the plane neared it, the ball dissappeared. It just dimmed out.

When the plane had passed, it appeared again but this time was slightly higher in the sky and more to the left of its original position. After a while it just floated up and went behind a cloud.

This sighting lasted about 25 minutes and my friend said he saw it again later on from his house.

The other people in the park were also watching it and I heard some talk of maybe it would land etc

There was also a strange craft that flew over us as we left, it was really low and just looked like two orange lights above us. We couldn't see the craft itself but the lights were not like regular plane lights and it was flying to low to be a regular plane. I don't remember if it produced sound or not.

The funny thing is, one of my friends had a video camera but he wouldn't film it. I asked him over and over and he just said he didn't want to be involved, I found that very odd. Someone else there that heard me asking him started shouting at him hysterically telling him to get the camera but he wouldn't!

It seems you are lucky to have such sightings.
Do you now keep a camera handy?

I probably should do.

But theres hundreds of good UFO photos and video that can be shown to be very reliable and most likely not hoaxed,
however, this hasn't really helped much in proving the phenomena to the scientific world!

I'd like to see solid evidence released. I'm sure the government has plenty of it.

I think the next stage in the phenomena will be space UFO photo and video. As commercial space flight becomes commen place more people are going to film these craft in space.

Really we have to wait for the government to tell us or the aliens to land and go on TV, lol.

Until then the larger part of the worlds population won't realise or accept that ET is real and is already visiting Earth.
