I'm surprised to find out that several highly successful people have admitted that they rely on 'Spirit Guides' to make their important decisions.

From Oil Barrons to Pop Stars, it seems like this is the next big rage.

I'm wondering if these people are just listening to their own inner selves, or are these truly intelligences from outside your body (extracorporial)?

I mean, I can meditate and have discussions in my head all day long. The question is am I conversing internally with other parts of me, or something else?

Opinions?

Perhaps you're simply a part of something else...with which you commune...or perhaps your sentience exists on many different levels...perhaps at these different levels, a different ego may exist...a different 'you'...

So your vote is for the 'Different Part of Me' theory? Or are you saying that we are just part of something bigger then just one soul?

Lol!

So maybe I should start listening to the voices inside my head, and if it works for me, I'll stick with it! Seems a bit of a hap hazzard approach...

Well I suppose that's the fine line one walks when listening to the voices inside one's head... If the voices guide you well for 20 years and then one day tell you to go shoot your wife, well who;s to say that you shouldn't! lol I mean, they are your spirit guides! THat's why I think I need a clearer understanding before listening to those voices...

No one says that your voices must be inherently reasonable...reason with them...even they must listen to reason lol

I have heard it said that within all people exists a 'Higher Self'.
Often times my inner voice guides me to correct decissions. And often times when I ignore it, I fail.
Back when I would do my ESP exercises, when I went to guess at what the card would be, my first thought was usually always the correct one, yet I for some reason doubted it most of the time.
I believe this inner voice and spontaneous first thoughts are associated with something greater whithin us and is not associated with Spirit Guides.

I think one thing that will really through people off about this is what is meant by "Spirit Guides". There is after all a real subject to this, but with so little known about it, people will not get what it is, and often enough others will adopt it to refer to something only they will ever be able to grasp.

Like cave men talking about electricity and outer space and other such things, the words they are using and what people are aware of will make it near impossible for anyone to get what they are talking about. An education on the subject and a vocabulary will make it possible to grasp the existence of the subject and make it possible to communicate it to others. Like cave men, a whole universe can be sitting out there and still be denied due to the fact that no one else has any clue what you are talking about or even the ability to have a clear concept for that matter.

Some of these guys with their "Spirit Guides" may have very valid points. But without a real perception it is hard to say what that even means. How many people here for example even know what a "spirit" is? Add to that the "guide" and you quickly leave behind any precise understanding. Most people still refer to the spirit in a third person usage. If such people are not even talking about themselves then what are they talking about? This level of mistake is akin to children talking about advanced science (and being mostly wrong about everything on the subject).

Make no mistake there is something to this subject. And as you would expert it is denied not because people are stupid but because they don't grasp basic concepts and if they don't grasp those then they can't get a clear idea of what is even being talked about. At that point you are not talking about anything that is real.

Like those cave men that started looking at the sky and noting the stars and that they could navigate by them when others would be lost, some people do correctly observe that there is something to be known, and when they use it, can achieve amazing results.

I have talked with a few such people, while I would never try to pass myself off as an expert or even a teacher on the subject, I did learn one thing, this subject is real and extremely underestimated.

I dont believe in spirit guides. I believe in me. I believe there are two sided to eachof us. One is everyday us and the other is our soul talking to us. Thats why I can feel if something is not right. Or if something is alright. My belief only.
