What? Why not get excited? (within reason of course) Jumping around excited is healthy for people. Who cares what they got excited about? As long as they are sane there should nothing to fear.

Aliens are real. Some people know this. I can't see why these people would not get upset when they are put down over something they know to be true. What right does anyone have to lie about aliens? They are real, simple as that. No need to run for our lives, go nuts or anything of the sort, they are there, so look up and smile and wave. See? Its easy to get over. After that you can get to the next step, which is to find out something about them.

I totally see why people would get excited over aliens. We have been stuck here for thousands of years staring at each other, lets star at someone else! Perhaps they have new music, new music is very popular here on Earth. I am sure they will get a kick out of the 1' Dodger Dog. So we can trade!

All this lying is really unhealthy for a civilization. It is not like we truly have a lack of evidence. Why get stuck on the need to hold on to excess baggage like hiding the fact that astronauts get buzzed now and then by UFOs? I don't care if the military says "Yes, we do have alien space craft, but we are not going to show it to you, we are going to going to hold onto it and build secret weapons to thwart enemies, whoever... or whatever, they are." At least at that point that are being honest!

When was the last time you imagined a young race right out of a Sci-Fi story that comes across aliens and each time they come across it the information about it is covered up? Sounds less then noble and honorable of them doesn't it? All that lying is bound to catch up to them some day. For a race priding itself on scientific fact this one is full of superstition for lack of simple honesty.

I once had a mate at UNI that was a Mormon priest, nice bloke too. He was a believer in UFOs and quite a scientific type. I said to him one day that i don't get what the big deal is, if the government was aware of UFO's why not just come out and tell us. He laughed and said it was the church, not so much the government. When I asked him what he meant, he pointed out a big heap of places in the bible that clearly will be brought undone, should an alien land in the park tomorrow. He said it was the churches power over the government that is stopping disclosure as much as anything. Unfortunately I have since lost contact with him, so I cannot remember what references in the bible he used. There were many, that he quoted verse for verse. Anyone familiar enough with the bible to quote what he was talking about?

SD.....I agree with you......no need to get overly anxious waiting for it.....disclosure will come when the time is right.....or an alien craft lands, pops their hatch gets out and says howdee....

If the government came out and said "Aliens have been visiting our planet, and we've known this for x amount of years," not only would people panic, but they'd begin to question what else the government was lying to them about. There would be global chaos, between "It's the forces of Satan!" whackos, "They're gonna kill us all!" morons, "Overthrow the lying government!" people, and "It's Armageddon!" assholes.

Just a few questions...
What militia/conspiracy websites have you been going through to find this mountain of evidence?
How much Peyote did you take to think about little green men with huge eyestalks?
and, Do you really think the public would take kindly to a "mountain" of UFO evidence suddenly being available from the government?
The government wants to protect the people from themelves, and if one thing turns out to be a lie, then people will begin to question everything else, and the Shit has hit the fan for the government.

It is something that some people want, but should publicly proclaim to avoid ridicule from their peers.

I do not know how much panic there would be, but they would certainly want to know what else they have been lying about. This is one reason the government will never announce it, unless they feel they are forced to...in some way.

I agree that telling everyone now, that "aliens are real", could result in a rather nasty effect on the general population. It would be mean to say the least and thus should not be done.

Going all the way back to the original post.. Starhero..you see UFOs "every night" outside your windows? Every night? And youve never thought to..say..document this? I mean..you KNOW they will be there every night. You should have the perfect opportunity to get first class footage, non blurry, conclusive stuff. Any reason youre not doing this?

I grabbed the last copy of 'The Odic Force' by Baron Carl Reichenbach (this was about 30 yrs. ago), just beating this other guy to it. He was a little nonplussed. I went to pay for it, and he approached the lady behind the counter & asked if that was the last copy they had? She said yes, unless he had one reserved. He did! We got to talking. I was from one state, he was f/across the river, lived in another state.

He told me as we talked that aliens he was in contact with told him to get the book & read it. Btw, he was short, round at the girth, wore green coveralls, and looked in his 50's. Not much of a ufo contactee, I thought, very dubious. He started tellin' me that they had begun taking him up into his ship4-5 times a weeks now, when at 1st it was only occasionally. Said he had to wash, get into clean jami's, and go into a room specially cleaned (they hate filth, me too), and sit until they'd take him up. I wanted to know more. He talked a bit.

Said there were aliens everywhere, walking on every street almost always (waved outside the bookstore door to the busy street). Yea, I thought, wow, weird! [Took me yrs. to learn more myself.] He also said the mongols would sweep across the usa, the russians would already be here fightin' us (hasn't happened yet), and that they'd join us in fightin' the mongols just to survice; he said that ufo's would appear en masse & assist us, or we'd be wiped out by the mongols. Said alotta other stuff, and believe me, he looked so ordinary it was a shock to hear him talkin' this way [I dubbed him, the Wisconsin Dirt Farmer]. He also said that Wisconsin would be called 'the Land of the Dead' at that time. He's probably dead now, never got to see it.

Well, I hadda go, and then shook his hand to take my leave. I was shocked: my arm almost went numb with the radiating (like microwaves, I later thought) power of his energy! He looked at me & said, "You can't get power like this by reading all the books in this store (New Age); you have to have it given to you by someone who has it." I sortta asked him for his address, but he said what for, it woldn't make any dif, and we took our leave.

I told a microbiologist I worked with about this later that yr. (she had a cell named after her), and said she'd experienced something like that herself: was a member of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's group, and said his close assistant was like, had a very powerful aura (also mentioned that M.Yogi himself didn't, he smelled & was dirty/unkempt, etc.). To this day, I've never encountered anything like him in another human being. I can still remember it. Damn, I wanted to meet his contacts!

No, they are not "Earth humans". Try to keep in mind that this is a very very large universe. And in all this space, there has been allot of time that has gone by. If you get too stuck on this planet and only a few years it will be hard to grasp the universe is not dependent on us to populate it with life.

If Earth is erased from existence the number of life forms lost would be unnoticeable to this area of space much less the universe. I am not saying we are not important, just opening up the possibility that not seeing enough life in the universe or very much of the universe, one can tend to think that Earth is key to everything that happens simply because if you think of nothing else then there will be no room for anything else to be the cause of events. To say that in a simpler way, there could be 100 people in a room, if you only see 3 of them, then you may tend to try to explain everything that happens in the room with just the 3 people when a great many more are involved too.

You see at this point we know that there are a great many suns in this galaxy, we know that they do have planets, we know that there are more galaxies then there are suns in this galaxy. So you see, there is no lack of space, there is not lack of planets, there is no lack of time. There is just a lack of observation. There is a lack of observation that other life forms are fully able to operate without us because we can't see anything else but ourselves with clarity. So now and then you will see comments that say how key we are or how humanity is the center of attention/events.

It is like a child that has yet to see just how much of the world is out there and so can't understand why people don't pay more attention to him/her more often. Because from his/her stand point, the greatest thing this person is aware of is him/her self and maybe a hand full of others.

I suppose at this point someone may get the idea I am being demeaning. That it is not it at all. It is just a general observation about how often Earth/humans are the center of attention/events. Please don't take it personally or as anything more then a general observation.

If you look on the INTERNET the largest amount of information related to one subject is UFOs, right after porn. So the information is out there and the evidence is everywhere but no one will listen until the American government actually admits to such objects as being or having the possibility of being extraterrestrial.

People are like a flower, if you water them at the right time they will open up for the world to see, but if the water is poison then the flower slowly dies and no one appreciates it's beauty or existence. This is a metaphor basically the water is the belief and acknowledgment and the flower is the item, object or being. Our water is poison so the flower will never open until the water is pure, this will take the citizens of Earth to force the government to come clean or the scientific community to acknowledge and put this matter into a serious discussion.

If you see them every night outside your window, why dont you start your own disclosure.... show everyone proof and get the ball rolling...

Also, someone else mentioned that aliens are humans who use 100% of their brains... ALL humans use 100% of their brains. The idea that we only use a portion (say 5%) of our brains, has been proven to be totally false and is a common fallacy.

Yeah, they are real. I've seen a UFO. I haven't seen aliens, though. I question anyone who shouts out they see them everywhere on every corner, though.

Hmm... I'm not sure about seeing UFOs every night, unless you just happen to live near a governmental facility or these vortexes (specific areas around the world that have high amounts of energy channeled to them due to the Earth's rotation - UFOs are reported in these areas more often and in more than any other places around the globe).

I would love it if the governments around the world just decided to release any and all information they had about aliens. But I don't believe that will happen. Our societies as we know it would simply collapse. It could be the end of most or all of religion. People would be committing suicides, abandoning their jobs, and sheer mayhem would rain down upon the world. Everyone would be in a panic. I think it's gotten to that point of no return - the government won't release anything on UFOs and/or aliens unless they are left with no other choice.


Relating to the Planet X/2012 theory of our world's destruction - I actually believe this might have the potential of the release of the truth concerning aliens. Let's say a planet, Planet X, is coming straight at us. Let's also say we're working with various alien species at the moment that have the capabilities of destroying this planet very easily with technology that we still have not developed. Wouldn't it just be the perfect opportunity to wait until this deadly planet got close enough to us that astronomers and the public alike could witness it through high-power telescopes so that the world knows, for sure, we are in trouble - and then, afterwards, the aliens go and, ultimately, save our planet by destroying it for us? Then the government would have a good opportunity to just be like, "Hey, look at what they did! Aren't they awesome!?? Don't be scared..."

Only the small-minded people will be panicking.

As to religion: no, that will not be the end of any religion whatsoever. Religion is a strong stain on this planet, and does not wash out that easily. Religion will simply find a suitable explanation for the aliens being there. They always find a stupid way to explain everything and anything.
