No one there has joined that I am aware of, though I have tried talking some into it.

yep it is pritty cool but im the noob of the bunch everyone there has been there for years. I have no chance of getting a seat in the helicopter, thay talk of it like its the dam star ship enterprise lol and i have to fight for a place on one of the ribb's as a backup for the next 2 years if i want to get anywhere with them. I would love to do some type of archeology but i would need some serious qualifications to be considered for that in Ireland, Even if its a ancient site people still look at it like some type of grave robbery. I would like to tho

Then don't let anything stop you. Two people who can give you some feedback on that are Vet and Allison...both have professional experience in that area, I think, anyway. I'm just something of a dumb cop but I'd always pinned my hopes on astronomy and have been plodding along in college for some years now (I'm a professional student lol)...I've been thinking lately that now is the time to get serious about it...if I could just find the time to make it so...anyway, if you love ancient history, then go for it...no time like the present..

Hay your a cop thats pritty cool i looked into doing that in the states when i was younger for new york state but you have get a A1 visa and go though a very long process so i just went into the army but now im older i dont think i would be willing put myself in dangers path for a paycheck. As you say you should go for what you like doing. smile.gif Or we could wait till we are old and gray and white a few best selling books ,if thay still have books blink.gif

lol We could write ebooks...I hear they're popular.

I don't think I want to do LE for the rest of my life...though I can't picture myself doing anything else...its like quicksand...it sucks you in and the only way out is inevitable burn out...that's a really low point...I'm a lieutenant now so I don't spend my time in the trenches so much anymore...that's a plus...still, my first love is the stars...
