Excuse the grammar and the spelling. I was never taught grammar and my spell checker is on continuously but doesn't catch all of my typos.

When I was fifteen, there were a gang of guys that thought it was cool to show how tough they were. They decided that I was an easy target and came over to me to tell me they were going to beat me up. Since they were all bigger than me and I'm not a good fighter, I was scared. I refused to run away as that would give all the validation that they needed to start in on me. Since the lunch wave was almost over ( Our school had two lunch waves because there were too many people for the cafeteria to handle in one time ) they told me that they were not going to do it now. They were going to meet me in the bus parking lot after school. What do you do? You have to go to the bus parking lot to get on the bus to go home. My dad wouldn't be off work and my mum didn't drive so I had no choice. I went to the bus parking lot. The bullies didn't show. Nor the next day, or the next. I was beginning to think that it was just a ploy to make me scared, which had worked. The third day my teacher in the last class of the day told us that the lesson was over fifteen minutes before the bell. She said to go out and enjoy the sunshine. This was in the spring in Quebec and the snow had just disappeared so it was rare to be able to just enjoy the weather. I was worried still that the bullies were going to be let out early too but I thought that I might get away with it for a third time. I went to the bus parking lot and saw that the bus had arrived. In fact it was the only bus that had arrived. Around it were kids, talking. They all appeared a bit short. I hurried over to the bus and got on. I found a seat and sat down. I had made it! All of the kids around the bus got on too. Then the bus left the parking lot and I put my head down to plan out what I was going to do when I got home. When I lifted my head up, I saw that my stop was coming up. I got up and got off the bus. It normally stops on the road but this time seemed to stop partly in our driveway which was odd since we lived on the east side of the road and the bus was heading south. I didn't turn around and look at the bus. I just went straight inside. I looked at the clock and it read 3:30. Just the time that school gets out. My mum was surprised that I was home early. I explained that I was let out of class early and caught the bus before it was leaving. The bus usually dropped me off between 4:30 and 4:45 because it took at least 20 minutes by car to go to school. My trip had taken about 10 minutes. I thought nothing of it and wondered what to do with my spare time. I tried to do some homework but I couldn't stir up much enthusiasm for it. I looked at TV and saw there was nothing interesting on. I wandered around the house and my mother told me that I should go for play outside. I told her that I was too old for playing but I could go for a walk. I looked at the clock and it read 4:30. I went out to the road and saw the bus go by with the normal load of neighbouring students. One who looked out the window as he went by was my nearest neighbour, Malcolm. He looked so surprised that I was at home when I had been to school that day. We looked at each other and I waved. I thought, funny, Malcolm took the late bus home? And then I remembered that it was the regular time for the bus to be there. I thought that this was just weird! The next morning, Malcolm talked to me on the bus and asked how I got home. I told him about the bus being there early and I went home. He said that he didn't see me get on the bus and when he went by my place, I was in my driveway! Did my dad give me a lift home? I told him that I got on the bus! He wasn't convinced and I wasn't so sure anymore. That afternoon, my class ended as the bell rang and I got ready to go home. I went to the parking lot and there were the other kids who ride buses home. I stood around and waited for my bus to come in and the bullies walked up to me. They asked me why I wasn't there yesterday so that they could beat me up. I told them that I was there and they weren't, so I got on the bus and went home. They told me that I was too weird and to stay away from them. They left.

when doing routine things you don't always immediately realise that something is amiss or strange until afterwards, until something makes you think ....hold on a minute!

I have a guardian angel too. It only appears when I'm angry. This wasn't one of those times.
