Hello Everyone!

Its been a long time since I last thought of Alien's, maybe I'm scared of them or maybe I just dont want to know they really exsist. Yet, my experience when I was 6 yrs old, says more then I want to admit. I am 24 yrs old now, and I am still reluctant to tell this story, because there was a time I told my friends and family, and every single one of them dismissed my story as if I was either crazy, hallucinating, or they quickly gave me the brush off or said I needed more sleep. The thing about this story, is that I'm not only telling it from my point of veiw, my brother was involved in this and at the time he was 7 1/2 yrs old. He remembers it just like I do, but after countless times where we got scolded for even the mention of alien's, we quickly gave up trying to tell anyone. Heck, my brother doesnt even like talking to me about it anymore, each time it's brought up he changes the subject, or insists we dont talk about it. He says, " Sis, nobody is going to believe us, so why waste our breath talking about it?" He's right, but here I am making one last attempt to talk about our experience, in the hopes, that I would get more positive and helpful feedback. For years, I spent nights thinking back on that night... So here's my story, and please dont laugh at me. I don't joke about this kind of stuff.

It was around 1990, I'm going to say that date because I was 6yrs old when it happened. At the time I lived in Newport Maine, about 7 miles away from the maine town, Only 3 houses near-by. We had a huge pool out front of our house, a huge three car shed about 10 feet to the right of it. (I'll try to find some pictures of the setting so you understand the surroundings). We owned acres of land, and right behind the pool there was this large hill top, and connecting at the bottom of the hill was the large 5 acres of flat land. I figure the hill was there to elevate the pool so it was even with the house.

(Please note, I will not say names of me or my family members)

Anyways, my brother and I were the typical little kids who hated to go to bed, and so we would sneak out of our rooms late at night, when we would know my mom and dad went to bed. So of course, that night (I dont know the exact date, sorry), my brother and I went down stairs into the living room to watch tv. We got into the living room, ready to turn on the tv, and my brother said something about " Sis, you see that light going towards the pool?" So, I look... and I see this huge shadow thing slowly landing behind the pool, the only problem was the shed light didnt reach that far, so the only thing we could make out was the light, and the large shadow.
Curious little kids we were, my brother says " Sis, lets go out there and see what it is." For some reason , I do remember being kind of like the chicken shit out of the entire thing, because my first instinct was to wake up my mom and dad and tell them, but my brother insisted we just go look, that nothing will happen to us.
I remember we had to be REALLY quiet opening the front door, because our parents bedroom door was 3 ft from it, so we slowly unlocked the door, we shut it quietly. I remember waiting outside the front door for a second, because our parents had hearing like you wouldnt believe, and we were afraid they would wake up. So we waited to make sure, then when we thought it was okay, we walk straight ahead to the pool. We crossed the drive way, we walked up the little stone path to the pool, and we unlatched the gate to the pool fense.... And there they were, we couldnt make out their color, it was too dark and light didnt reach that far, but there was enough light to make out their figures. Tall and skinny, and there heads were much bigger then a normal person. As kids, we didnt know what to say, but I remember saying " You guys cant be here, if my parents catch you, you will be in big trouble." Sure enough, they turned around, and thats when my brother and I got a little scared. They stood there staring at us, and my brother whispered " way to go sis, now they are mad." So he quickly interrupted the silence, and said we wont hurt you. Shortly after he said that, they went back about their business. The thing that got our attention, was the space ship which we now saw a lot clearer, but still hard to make out any specific detail, was propped up on some kind of legs, and the ship was settled above the right corner of the fencing of the pool, and a ramp like thing where one stood on it. The other one was on the opposite side of the pool from us, one was standing on the other side of our diving board, and the last one was on our side of the pool, not too far from us. I continued to stand near the gate of the fence, and my brother grabbed my hand and said look " They are just taking water from the pool." My question then, was why do they want water from our pool, and at the exact time I walked up pulling my brother with me to get closer and I watched them with buckets, dipping them in until they were full, then passing it over to each other.. The alien standing on the ramp would take the full water buckets and bring them into the ship. I know when I looked inside the ship, it was like a dark area and then the other alien would come back out and continue the water retrieval process.
So curious little me walked up closer to the alien and I picked up a bucket that was sitting next to it, I remember handing one to my brother too. I dont know why there were so many buckets, but I remember dipping it in the pool filling it, and I was a little uneasy, but I passed it down to the alien next to me. He stood there a second looked at me, and I said " I just want to help." So he grabbed it from my hand, I remember his hand slightly brushing up against mine, and it was really soft. This went on for a long time, I know it did because my brother and I started to get tired. Somehow we knew they were getting ready to leave.... The details of their departure was vague, hell almost missing, because I remember one minute were standing there helping, the next we're jumping up from sleeping on the couches in the living room. It was still pretty early in the morning then. I remember my brother and I literally, jumping up and running to look out the window, shortly after that we looked at each other and we said " That wasnt a dream, was it?"
We ran over to the front door, it was still unlocked, we confirmed our exit, and my parents were still asleep, and sure enough being as startled as we were, we woke up our parents. I remember telling my parents, they brushed it off like you're kids with active imaginations, but we knew better. Sure those aliens reminded me of the movie my father had let us watch one time (The fly).. but I know, I wasnt hallucinating, and I am damn sure that if it was just a dream, my brother wouldnt have been in synch with it, Mind you the details he and I confirmed later on that day, were right on the money. We told the same story, the same details, without having spoke to each other about it. So how is that possible?
Another little thing to note, I remember my dad humoring my little story, and going out to the pool... He confirmed that there was close to 8 inches of water missing. *This was a huge inground pool* So 8 inches is a lot. We had a small ruller type thing on the side of the pool, that determined how much the pool needed to be filled. My dad had said even then " I remember filling the pool up just the other day." Neither me or my family at that time had gone in the pool, because it was still a little breezy then. My dad always had the pool clean with a vac, and spent a few days filling it up.

Now, I dont know how much of this anybody is going to believe. Honestly, whether someone believes me or not. I know this happened.

What I dont understand is why didnt they hurt us?.... And if they did, why didnt we have any side effects, no scars, bumps, burns, nothing of any kind?.. Also I'm curious, if they didnt mean any harm, why would they go out of their way to put us to sleep, on our couches?...

My brother did mention one thing later on, when we got a bit older. He said " I'm going to take a guess, that they made us believe we had a dream, and them being aware of us as kids, it was easy to make a kid believe they had a dream, especially if you dont want them to know they exsisted." What gets me, is if there are all these stories of aliens doing these horrible things to people, why didnt these aliens do the same to us kids? The oppourtunity was there, it couldnt get any easier for them...
Which now leads me to believe, that there are possibly different types of aliens. Just like we have, different countries, different cultures, colors, religions.. Is it possible there are different types of aliens? Just a thought.

I have never really looked into my encounter with these aliens, as I have never had a real need to, but I do have a lot of questions, is where did the time go from when we were helping them to the time we woke up? Did they just put us to sleep, did they study us? Who knows!

I dont recall any significant signs on me or my brothers' body.. Then again, we were young and didnt know what to look for either.

So there is my story, followed by tons of questions.

There have been other accounts of ships stopping for water. I would think they would have a better way to get water than with buckets, but who knows. Could have been the most expedient way in an unexpected situation.

There are estimates of a dozen to several dozen different species of aliens visiting earth, each on their own agenda. Only one or two seem to be involved with abductions.

Only you can say if it was a dream or real. However your story is consistant with similar accounts.

Thanks Bart, the positive reply put my heart as ease.. i was half expecting someone to say I was nut job, wouldnt be the first time. I guess that's why I have sealed the experience away in my memory. The only reason I found myself reliving this experience tonight, was because I watched this thing on youtube, and it literally scared the living day lights out of me.

Either way, I looked into other experiences people have had before, I dont recall any stories on aliens stopping for water. Do you have any links to those stories I can look at? I would like to compare my experience with them...

I saw another from the eighteen hundreds where buckets were supposedly used but I have not been able to locate it. There are so many ufo reports.

I've never heard of them taking water but if you need it, you grab it! I know that they used to raid our garden.

That is a strange story. I wish aliens would land in my backyard....except that I don't have one. 7th story apartment and all. I don't think you're crazy at all, though I wouldn't run around telling everyone you meet about this experience...especially any shrinks or psychiatrists. They'd have a ball with that. I was on about 30 different meds before I realized I never had a problem to begin with. I doubt that most aliens have malevolent motives at heart. That'd be like saying a human is good or evil just for being a human. There's all types of us, so why not of them? If you are for sure this actually happened, I'd treasure the memory. It's not every day you get to see something like that!

I agree with Kyerie, you've had a unique experience and i'm glad you've decided to share it with us!

As far as I'm aware, there's hundreds (if not thousands) of reported cases of ET's collecting water. Us humans have been using buckets as a method of carrying water for thousands of years, with few significant changes in the design - if it ain't broke, why fix it? There's nothing to say that a technologically advanced race wouldn't use buckets to carry water - our ancestors might think the same of us using them!

I think that it's important to share these types of experiences for the benefit of all mankind, i mean, if these beings are indeed around us all the time it's good to have some insight into their behavior.

P.S. My own experiences have been met with similar criticism from family members/friends, and i know a girl who's been labeled as schizophrenic because she's been taken from her bed at night and been interfered with by non-human beings. This stuff really happens every day to otherwise ordinary people! There are thousands of contactees/abductees throughout the world who would definitely NOT think that you're crazy!!

Do not worry overly.. it sounds like you had an encounter with benign beings. They are out there.

The first thing to keep in mind is that there are hundreds of species out there, maybe even thousands. there are something like 90 known actively visiting the planet, with many of them indifferent. Some benign, some not so. There are certainly many many more that have visited only a few times and more that have never done.

So that being said, I will just say that you should not be worried. You had a benign encounter. Chances are they put you to sleep for the precise reason your brother felt: to simply believe you had a dream.. they even made sure to return you to comfort, which means they did care for your well being. If they were not benign, they would not have gone to this trouble.

Out of curiosity, can you describe the beings in more detail?
