Shakespeare wrote "Peace. I hate the word, as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee."

I know this is a vague topic, but I have been thinking on it, and have reached the conclusion that there will never be peace among humanity. I further conclude that no peace is possible in any species, be it extraterrestrials or other animals here on Earth.

There is hatred stemming from little reason. That is because we do not need to reason out something that comes naturally.

I hate the Jehova's Witnesses that knock at my door and ask 'Do you think there will ever be peace?', expecting me to at least say 'I hope so'. For I do not hope so. There will never be peace until those that are a nuisance to me lie rotting on the ground (or I am dead). Terrorists that call themselves 'freedom fighters' will never see myself as embracing their so-called ideology. But an ideology is only a matter of perspective. It is because of this perspective that there is no middle ground, and never will be.

It saddens me to see this as a progress of logical thought, for I hate war, and I hate death. I know there is no afterlife (please don't disagree with this, for it is not the topic of this post. I know what some people think and try to respect it).

Logic points to me that this thought process can be called a 'warmonger'. But a warmonger ignores reasons why they want war. I do not want war. I think the army is a bunch of hired killers, for that is what they are. I do not mean this as an insult.

OK, I am losing the line of logic, so I'll stop here. Please note that this is not a topic about terrorism.

I'd like to think there will be peace eventually - once the human race is extinct!

The biggest obstacle is all the bullshit we're led to believe about our fellow humans. We're encouraged to fear that which we don't understand.

There definitely won't be peace as long as war is a profitable enterprise...

Despite how hopeless peace seems to be for mankind, I do sincerely believe it will come.

Amen Brother! If they outlawed booze and legalised weed, there'd be a lot less hate in the world...

people gain hate because they see other people take one emotion and get it out of their systems like dry.gif so kinda both

world peace is impossable, we are violent by nature. but peace withen ones self is possable. (a bit off topic but ive seen the comment of religion and had to jump on the bandwagon)religion is a waste of space which uses our money that should be put forth to something better than" the invisiable man in the sky"
