what do you think? Cgi? or is it real? That's an easy one. Even an un-trained eye watching at normal speed can see the inconsistencies between the movement of the "alien" and his shadow. Also, the overhead light was bright enough to cast a very contrasting shadow, yet when the door was opened, the light coming in from the outside was way too intense. In addition, the "shadow" of the person opening the door could only be achieved by backlighting that particular subject. Normally, a hallway or foyer would be lit by overhead fixtures, and a long shadow would not have been cast into the cell. To accomplish what's on this video, the subject opening the door would have had to have a single bright spotlight behind him. (only one contrasting shadow was cast) Lastly, the shadow of the guy in the door moves in a manner more consistent with bits and bytes than reality. In short, this video is BS. |

Just to add to the discussion, this is part of a film student's project. I can't think of his name but the project is coming along quite nicely I see.

I see allot of people yelling "CGI". Alright, but you have to admit, this stuff is getting better. Real or not, that video is not bad.

Definately cgi.I agree with the others though it is a good cgi.I think if we ever get any real footage of aliens it will be in color and in some really rare exceptions black and white.

Just to add to the discussion, this is part of a film student's project. I can't think of his name but the project is coming along quite nicely I see. emy can you try and remember the name or your source of this project? ive seen both of isotrops mudogump.com.br posts ive also visited mundogump site and noticed one thing the National Enquirer supermarket tabloid purchased a video posted there and placed a copyright on it it was the "side stepping gnome" http://www.boingboing.net/2008/03/13/argen...n-gnome-sc.html notice now on this article its only a still picture and not the actual video because of the copyright if anyone can locate that video now its actually illegal to post and has been removed from all hosting sites according to the posting of copyrighted material policy im starting to see a pattern in this type of censoring through copyright just like with the Denver conference video "peeping tom alien" so since these two posted videos of the "captive alien" have not been purchased are we to assume that the "side stepping gnome" and the "peeping tom alien" are real? when i first saw the "captive" in the chair video i can see all properties they are claiming they have in the "peeping tom alien" vid and since the new one i notice the expression really is the same and has an in your face staged quality by getting close to the camera to attempt to show you the animation but the eyes do not blink in the second release. so i have to lean that the second "captured" alien video is a fake debunk for the real first release and the copyrighted similarities n the "peeping tom alien" is to draw attention off the first released "captive in chair" video. in this thread ALIENX-PERT has posted the second released of this video first |

I know of relative amateurs who can make some realistic looking CGI stuff. Not all that difficult these days.
The video at the beginning of this thread is clearly CGI but fairly well done - just a few inconsistencies give it away. The 'sitting' grey is pretty impressive, but also clearly CGI if you ask me. As for the gnome, all i can say is: WTF?! It's not CGI, it's just straight-out lame!! |

might want to stock up on those pills
back in 2001 i was a you tuber i think alot of people can claim thats when they started looking into this stuff it doesnt make us experts but when your trying to create a scenario out of what other people observe capture and post and 75% of the vids.. "the good stuff" posted from alot of different people are gone and i have yet to see anything that compares much to whats was posted then to whats being posted 8 years later where did they go if they were not pulled for copyright reasons or an unclear vague standardized violation, so back to what i asked do we believe that the ones are missing are the real deal and the ones we are left with are cover-ups debunks dis-information or hoaxes? or a couple of kids in a garage that are so good with CGI that they dont have a 2 hour production for wide screen theater or available for home sale like every other form of entertainment that would justify a copyright? |
