It is a green light in the sky that could be anything.

The sky is hazy so my guess it is a helicopter or aircraft with a green revolving navigation light. Hazy sky makes the aircraft not viewable and the wing look is the light reflecting on the fusilodge as it turns.

Fenstar thanks for the reply-of course you may be right (or not) but it looks a bit freaky to me.
It also looks to have moving parts and the object's altitude seems to be quite high
(although I do realise the Chinese do love their wacky kites).

I'd say it's defiantly a tethered kite, I saw one the other night close to my house. It looked like a giant luminescent jellyfish from the abyss!

This is the closest image I could find, and I tried several differently worded searches, such as, 'luminescent kites, neon kites, glow in the dark kites...'
I'd by interested to see other pictures if anybody can find them?
