It could have been a stelth jet aircraft. The vid jumps around and doesn't mantain a consistant view eneough to determine the UFO's motion velocity or heading. Being able to determine flight characteristics would help with identification.

I thought it was filmed from a moving vehicle with the camera rotating to follow. Is the object rotating against the cloud background, or are the clouds rotating as well? Is this determinate at all? |

I like the physical UFO's far more than the orbs because they could be air plane lights at extreme distance (There's a youtube video on identifying aircraft lights, I can't remember the name or link). We have to get more than just footage of the even though, radar detection (even if its stealth it still has a small ping on radar), and situational information like date, time, and regional events that might have a reason to the craft. And airspace maps would be nice to corispond to the area. While even I would LOVE to jump the gun on this one and just say its a UFO, there could be more to the story and it needs proper digging.

Yeah.. i can see in one part the object rotates nearly a quater of a turn while the clouds either side stay in the same position... its not an aircraft |

Well the paper run the story and so far no response to it.. eccept for a bunch of silly comments... no one knows what it is. so you can for now call it a UFO |

Here are a couple of other Videos of it.... Click here...and... Click Here And here is a news report about it.....Click here Hmm.. interesting. I don't think those are the same as the one I posted, but nonetheless interesting. The first vid you posted just erks me that it's staying still THAT long.. w/ absolutely no rotation or any part of it moving. At least w/ saucers, they don't seem to be moving, but that's only b/c the disk part is spinning so fast that you don't see it.. at least on vids.. hoax or not. As for the original vid.. It is DEFINITELY rotating against the clouds. As long as it's not some sort of hoax, I'm absolutely positive that it's rotating against the clouds. As for the movement.. I don't think it's moving, rather just hovering in that spot. It doesn't seem to get noticably larger or smaller (moving spatially up or down), and I say it's not moving as the passenger had to look out the back of the car at a point, yet it was still easily in view. If it was only a little bit in front of them in the opening film, then after the few seconds of vid, the passenger must videotape it (not TOO far behind him), I'd say it's completely still.. |

I was wondering why the driver didn't stop also. The road did seem a bit like a busy highway, so maybe safety reasons.....

I dont think the driver could see it.. it was just a barely visible dot at first before the camara zooms
in.. the passenger done well to spot it.. i bet he/she was shouting to pull over but the driver most likely didnt think much of it plus there didnt look to be anywhere to pull over on the road they were on.. ya cant just stop like that on some of our roads.. although there was a turning they could have pulled off but they didnt.. so Anyway.. was the object moving in and out the cloud? I dont think the camara was using auto focus. seems to be set on infinity zoom.. quite impressive for a camara phone actually. nearly as good as my sony camcorder.. it must be a sony phone http://s292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/Co...nt=Blkktri1.flv Pic wise cant get much from it really.. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/Co...r/BlkTriPic.jpg |

haha, all I have to say, is that if this is CGI, it's a DAMN good job.. I don't think it's being taken w/ a camera though. When I first saw it, I wasn't under the impression that it was w/ a camera. Even so, I don't even think Cybershots could bag that sort of zoom..
But the position both horizontally and vertically, it revolving, and the fact that a few clouds pass in front of it just faintly makes me think it's legit. I wouldn't think most CGI artists wouldn't think to do a cloud, and the portion that would, would try to do MORE of a cloud to make it MORE convincing.. rather than just a brisk covering that most viewers wouldn't even notice. Also.. I don't have a trained, seasoned eye for detecting hoaxes (I let common , non-brainwashed sense do that for me), however the pictures provided from Buzz really look like many hoaxes do. Thanks for the time spent on that Buzz! As for them stopping, I can think of a few reasons they didn't stop. One reason being, as mentioned, there was nowhere TO stop. Another, again mentioned, was that the driver probably couldn't see it well, ESPECIALLY being in that little squeeze she was in w/ that traffic. But I believe the MAIN reason they didn't stop was shock. Ya, I'm sure if you see something like that THAT close, the average viewer would be under enough shock to not even THINK about stopping. But what I mean is.. look at their position. Technically, if they had stopped to look at it, they'd be DIRECTLY underneath the sucker.. Tell me, do you think that you'd really want to be standing directly underneath one of those if it were that close? I'm sure many of us would, but do you think the AVERAGE person would?! HELL no! I think the average person who's first sight of a UFO being that close would be LETS GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! I'm sure the same applied for them.. |

The Mystery appears solved, read on....
QUOTE IT is the X-Files-style mystery that has been puzzling people for months,What were the strange black triangles spotted flying silently over Southampton landmarks? Caught on video three times in the past few weeks, it caused a buzz among UFO enthusiasts from across the country who have described it as the best they had seen for some time. It even sparked an investigation by Southampton Airport after a report from a worried member of the public.Thousands of readers logged onto the Daily Echo website to watch the slow moving objects twist and spin over Millbrook, Shirley and the docks. Now we can reveal what we think was behind the phenomenon: A solar balloon.advertisement, The mini-hot air balloon can be made with just four black bin bags, sticky tape, scissors and a hairdryer. Mix those ingredients with a warm, sunny day and you have a black triangular balloon which could easily be mistaken for one of the UFOs which have been spotted over the city...Cont Here
