Last night, the strangest thing happened over here. I was on the internet at about 2:30 in the morning browsing around, trying to find something to do. Well, anyways, all was well and quite.. no distractions going on. It was actually very eery, as no crickets were chirping or anything.. just absolutely no noise. I remembered thinking about how strangely quiet it was, but no crickets chirping is never too big a deal, b/c over here in a sub-urban neighborhood, there are nights when they just aren't chirping.

Regardless.. these are those nights that I don't wear headphones, b/c you almost expect something to happen, and you don't want it to happen when looking into a blinding laptop.. as the rest of the room is completely dark in comparison, and someone could break in through my window, have me at gunpoint, and unless he gets in front of the laptop.. I wouldn't know. But now I'm rambling.

All of a sudden, a lot of dogs just started BARKING and going crazy. 6/10 or so of the houses around us have dogs in their backyard, so it's quite a common thing. But I mean.. these dogs were going AT it for about 10 seconds until another strange thing happened (by this time.. I was suspicious of SOMETHING, and aliens weren't on my mind). There was a second noise coming from outside. It was like a DEEP, LOW rumble that slightly tremored the entire house. It lasted for about a second before the volume started subsiding rapidly, which prolonged for about another 4-5 seconds I'd say? I'm not quite sure on details, as at this time, I was pretty damn spooked.. It had REALLY felt like a UFO was close, and just took off making a loud noise, and got much more quiet the further it went from here. After that, the only noise was the dogs continually barking, which had slowly dissipated a half minute to a minute later.
But the WEIRD thing was.. when I first heard the deep noise, my laptop screen had started messing up. Out power shot on-off a few times (I can tell b/c the fan turned off, then on, then off, then back on. Also, the AC unit would stop and go, and.. you can kind of tell when the power goes out). The weirdest thing of all, however, was that my laptop's screen brightness didn't flick on/off as it normally does when we lose power. The screen had actually undergone some sort of quick distortion and morphing for a bit less than a second. I've never seen that happen before, and am not sure if that's common when you give and take power to/from a laptop, but I've never seen it before.

I was wondering if it was a transformer (the electrical box.. not the movie or the shape-shifting cars) that had malfunctioned temporarily, as I know that happens sometimes. However, that would not have had the noise that I had heard, and more importantly, I don't find a coincidence of all these dogs barking at once, then as they do, a quick transformer malfunction, and a loud, DEEP noise. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be? I talked to my family and one of my neighbors, and they all mentioned they heard it as well, starting w/ the dogs. The neighbors didn't notice the power was out until they saw the blinking alarm clock that said.. yep.. power went out. However, my dad, being the heavy sleeper he is, slept through it all.. After it happened though, sheeit.. I'll tell you, I had no idea what to expect, and I closed the laptop real quick, got my eyes adjusted to the dark room, and had just WAITED for a bit, ready to pounce on anything coming through my window (wasn't worried about the door, as we have those doors that beep when a window or door was opened). Nothing eery happened that night that I recall though..

Does anyone else have a take on this? I was honestly ready to soil myself when this was all going down. I'm not afraid of aliens at all, nor of what I've seen and heard, nor even the projections in the future of aliens coming down or USA beginning another holocaust. But when there REALLY felt like there was a VASTLY superior technological race of some sort.. potentially PROWLING around my house or any nearby, it's a bit creepy. Again, I'm not afraid of dying or death or anything, but the idea that this thing could possibly grab me through a wall, bring me up w/ them, then probe me or run all sorts of tests imaginable on me.. REALLY irks me. Fine.. run tests on me, but please, have me be dead when you do, or AT LEAST unconscious..

naw, absolutely nothing. I've wondered in the past while in college, but I think that was just b/c I would always go to sleep, and wake up seemingly immediately after feeling like I've been up all night and terribly dizzy/nauseous. This very easily could've been just the workload, and I'm almost positive it was, as I had 5 engineering classes, and I'd spend at least half my day just doing work from them. Since college though, I have MUCH more fatigue than I have in the past, even when I'm on break. I sleep for much longer times when uninterrupted, and find it very hard to get out of bed when waking up. Literally, I can sleep for 15+ hours if I don't have to get out of bed.. spoken from experience. Again, this could be from the extra workload from college courses, and now I'm working 50+ hr weeks, so that's most likely why.

But as for last night, I highly doubt it. Like I mentioned, I was already awake at the time, and had stayed awake for sometime afterwards. When I woke up, I felt as rested as I do everyday (which is not much, but I average about 6 hrs or less of sleep now). After the event, I stayed awake for another few hours, and ended up going back to sleep around 5:30 or so.. just b/c I was pretty frightened at what went on.

I know my brain "phases" out in little trances often, however, I know what I experienced that night was completely real. I'm not saying it was a UFO, but just wondering if anyone else knows what it could be, or had similar experiences.

maybe you are sensitive to EMF fluctuations..these can cause sleep or trance like state.
