This is not something I fear, but do you think that could happen? Some hidden research facility in New Mexico do some experiment which then leads to aliens invading the place?

That game was awesome! And HL2 was better! And the episodes... well...

i can see it now... a portal leads aliens to invade, and our only hope is Gordon Freeman, a scientist in a HEV suit, armed with his trusty Crowbar... laugh2.gif

in all seriousness, the games were awesome, so were the mods, TFC and CS were my faves...

i read up in some magasine at a service station:

I Believe Theoretically, Teleportation And Time Travel are basically the same. instead of teleporting from place to place, you travel from time to time. The only way for teleportation to even work, is that there are 2 stations, one to go in, one to come out. Time Travel with this method would mean it would be impossible to travel back to assasinate hitler. The only way to go back in time, would be to travel to a point where the recieving terminals exist... Example: Lets say i create a teleportation platform on august 21, 2009... i cant go back anytime before that time because i'd have no place to re materialise.

a little off topicish... but i found it interesting when i read it...
Note that i am going by memory, not reading the artical right now...

The aliens would not invade, ever. It would be more of a massacre

I hope I did not spell that as face makeup and not as murder of many/ smile.gif))

Of course, that only applies if it is an actual machine. If we somehow figured out how to bend space, I think we might be able to travel back to whatever time we wish.
