those guys are a couple of turds.

lol. some of the so-called myths they've busted are totally plausible. i quit watching after i saw a few episodes where they supposedly disproved something that i have seen happen before...

So Aba… Did you see the latest MythBusters episode about busting the Moon Hoax myth?
I did. I found it pretty friggin’ convincing too…lol

What did you think?

You know, the Mythbusters have actually conclusively busted many urban myths while other attempts have been less than conclusive.

Why do you have a disdain for them?
I find them rather entertaining.
They get to do some crazy-ass shit and make a good living at it! Lol ~rore

I remember seeing the moon landing on tv as a child. I actually have the orginial newspapers on it also. Life magazines spread on it at the time. I dont believe it was fake. I am no scientist by any means ,but I do remember the awe in seeing it and to me,no one can make me believe it was a sound stage.

yeah i know im quite the critic.

eh i was just disappointed to see them say that certain things weren't possible when they absolutely are. it kind of blows their cred. i mean this is suppose to be hard science right?

its time to stop declaring what is impossible and start declaring what is possible.

just because they can't do something or recreate certain circumstances, it is ruled out... hardly unbiased. they must think awful highly of themselves. lol.

they do have a cool lab. and budget.

the clencher would be that i have in fact seen a few of their busted myths actually happen. thats all it takes.

i missed the moon hoax. i quit watching the show. i see it coming on and turn the channel. i mean... should not scientists be held to their own standards? amatuers and pioneers are decried as pseudo-scientists, but what about those pros in the spotlight that misrepresent their art... i say art because obviously these guys do not have it down to a science.

i used to watch every episode. faithfully.

i have no feelings or passionate thoughts on the moon landing hoax. heres my take:
even if we didnt actually go at that moment in time, we did later.
i doubt it was faked, but if so it would not suprise me in the least.

All of the moon missions happened just as history recorded them. Period.

My uncle Jimmy worked at NASA as a spacecraft camera engineer for decades. I have watched several launches.

It is possible that everything found on the moon was not revealed to the public. Jimmy won't say. But what was reported is accurate.

Moon rocks returned and astronauts make good eyewitnisses . There were even the scandels about stamps and souvineer objects returned from the moon the astronauts intended to sell.

I watched the first moon landing at my grandmothers house. In her seventies she refused to believe reaching the moon was possible. While watching it she declared it a product of hollywood. That is the mindset of the hoax people. She grew up in the horse and buggy days and could not believe even when her own son in law worked at NASA.

Moon hoax proponents need to find something better to do with their time.
