The old "Report" system sucks. It emails + PM's all the mods, and its just unhelpful, as we dont know when someone has taken action on it.
By posting in here, a mod will mark your post as invisible after its been fixed, so we dont all need to get harassed

So we have to search for this thread then post a link to the offending thread in this thread..?

Well, it's an extra step or two in the process, but I reported a post this morning, and twenty-minutes later it was gone. I'm satisfied, and I can see how it would be a little confusing. Sometimes I report a post, and I'll get an e-mail later from one mod telling me it was deleted, and then get another post from a different mod saying they couldn't find it.

I know some message boards assign moderators to different forums, but I don't think that would be the best solution here since some mods are much more active than others, and that could lead to a situation in which some forums get heavily moderated while others don't get moderated at all.

No solution is going to be perfect, but this systems works well enough for me. I'm happy.

And BTW, to the mod who deleted that thread this morning ... THANKS!
