I saw this movie and it was one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Its pretty funny too because when the earth is iced over all the americans goto the mexican border and they wont let americans in. So the president then says he forgives every illegal immigrent in the US and then they let americans in. Pretty ironic.
Has anyone else seen this movie? If so whats your thoughts

I saw it this time last week and I honestly thought it was one of the worst films ive ever seen... It was so unbelievable and so predictable... Also there were many points where they just got things plain wrong, its a perfect example of a typical hollywood special effects fest (the effects were good, that was its only high point).

They did, Kelli. It was a boasting film of how good they can make it look when a tidal wave washes in over New York. People run... run from icy cold wind (rediculous) and escape into a room in the New York Library. Cool film though. Not even close to being one of the best, but worth seeing for free smile.gif

I haven't heard any good reviews on this one. My mate went to see and said the only reason she didn't walk out was that she wanted to see the end.
Go see Troy. Fantastic film.

Around here, people enjoyed the references to Bush administration and specially, the scene when crowds of American ilegal aliens run to the Mexican border and wait to the US Government to cancel the debts of all Latin American countries, in order they can pass to the south edge of Rio Bravo.

I liked the movie, I wasnt as bad as people make it seem. It was acturally really good. But not really "true" if thats how you want to say it. They made the special effects like take over the film if you know what I mean by that.. I seen it with my two cousins..One of them kept talking through it so I really didn't get to see the whole thing. I'd like to go back and see what all happened that I missed. The part where the dad went to rescue his son was totally dumb because that could never happen. Like everyone else died when they went out in the storm but he didn't?!?! I really didn't understand that. Other than that it was okay.

I havent went and seen the movie yet..dont know if I even want to. Its just a warning anyway...about what might happen to the earth if we dont stop doin what we're doin to it.
I think everyone would die if it ever realy happend. It probably wont but, theres possibilities.

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah I thought that was soooooo funny! LOL! I told my friend that when we went to see it! It was like all of the Americans were running for the border and they were like referring to the Americans as "all of those illegal aliens" LOL! We were trying to get into their country like how they are trying to get in here! biggrin.gif Yeah that was funny! I loved the movie it was really cool how that guy froze instantly on the spot. The Special Effects were really good. I loved how that ship floated into the middl;e of downtown New York! LOL! Okay I won't give it all away! LOL! [popcorn] :rainbow:

:rainbow: If you take the movie as just entertainment and not look for it to be scientifically correct in every aspect, then it's a good movie. [popcorn]

Yup we all do Free thingy!! But in this instance Rose is responding to direct quotes from people. In order for them to reply she has done seperate posts to save them the trouble of having to edit other quotes when they respond. It's no problem. It's the one liners and the posts in the wrong place that are a bigger concern!!!
