Ok on easter me and my girlfriend had traveled to wisconsin to go visit her mother for the holiday, well i had taken this photograph of the family when i was there and later on when i got home i uploaded the picture and found this mysterious circle or spher in the middle of the room, But here is where the supernatural part comes in, my girlfriends mother knows that there is a ghost in the house and has been there for sometime, her mom states that she has seen a halo of the ghost several times, but it is a peaceful entity she says, so im just curious if this picture has any importance or if there are any other cases of energy orbs or spheres caught on camera, also i want you guys too know that the image has not been doctored or edited in any way shape or form, also i know it is not a lense flare because there are no direct lighting sources in the room besides the ambient light through the curtains, also i did resize the image for posting but on the larger file you can actually see a sort of texture on the ball itself, so i am posting this because i just want a little backround on what an energy presence would look like on a photo, im also a little spooked by the fact too cause i have to stay overnight at this location on ocassions.

Well hopefully I can unspook you Ventex. At first sight the pic does seem creepy but from the shape of the light it looks like a classic case of lens flare. There is a section in the Photograph research lab dealing with lens flare if you wanna read it and see what it's all about. But in my opinion it's lens flare.

ok cool i just thought it was interesting because i took more than 3 pictures at the same time and angle and only one showed up like this, and also i just want to say that i have taken over 300 hundred pictures in different lighting and enviroments with this specific digital camera, and i have not captured one lens flare or ball like this so thats why i thought it was unusual smile.gif

You are correct it is unusual....however the setting for it is correct as well in that the light from what I can see is coming directly toward the camera. There appears to be many windows in the house and with the camera pointing in that direction the chances of grabbing lens flare are greatly increased.
