What happened to the japanese probe?.- the one that was planned to have a high enough resolution that it could image the remains of the apollo landings?. Is this capable of that or are we never going to shut up those conspiracy nuts?.

Strange because I would have thought it would have been pretty big publicity to confirm the moon landings after so much contraversy over whether they really did take place. Do you know where you heard about these photographs, if they did actually take them?. I'm not so sure this japenese mission went ahead myself.(the rest of the would seems to have a poor success rate in these matters compared to nasa[if you can believe that  ])

The probe was not even launched due to technical problems... perhaps 2005... smile.gif
Honestly there wasn't really much serious controversity ever about it... just in the imagination of those who wanted to believe the conspiracy...

When the photographs show the landers it won't silence the conspiracy theorists anyway because they can just claim that the US forced Japan to airbrush them in and give an obscure reason why the Japanese would have to follow US orders.

Well, they kinda do, since we pretty much have controlled them since we dropped two nukes on them...

But the conspiracy theorists are wrong on this one, so it's all good.
