When I was 5, I was taken on my first hallowe'en expedition. I thought it would be great! Getting all kinds of candies and dressing up in costume. My family didn't live in town then, ( we moved out when I was 4 ) so my dad had to drive us in and dropped us off. He told us to go to the high school when we were finished because there was a party and a best costume contest. My costume was my dad's air force uniform, folded and pinned to make it fit my small frame. ( My dad gained a lot of weight when he left the air force, so it didn't fit him anymore. ) He had to check about the party to make sure we would be all right. We got out at the school and started walking around. I was the youngest, so I was a not very good at crossing the street safely. My eldest sister was collecting for UNICEF, so she also had to keep track of me. We went from door to door, begging for candies and I noticed two ghosts walking the streets. I thought that this was strange that two kids would have the same costume and walk together. I asked my sisters about it, and they concurred that it was very strange. I saw some really small kids dressed as ghosts and these were lead around by a mother or auntie, but the ghosts bothered me. They were going to the same doors that we went to and I never saw them open their bags or even ring doorbells. I couldn't keep and eye on them all the time, so I put them out of my mind. Too many delicious candies collecting in my bag! We kept walking and I noticed two ghosts on the street. I did a double take because we had just seen them behind us. How did they get there so fast? We kept walking and I saw two more ghosts. Were there two, or four, or six? I couldn't identify them, so I thought that I had got it wrong. We crossed a street and went back along the other way and I saw two ghosts again. I looked back and saw two more. They kept following us. We went to one door, and two of he ghosts went to the same door after we left, but they didn't ring the doorbell. ( I watched that time. ) When we went to another door, they were waiting to walk up the path to the door. I looked at the ones across the road and they crossed the road to join the other two. Four ghosts, exactly the same size. They walked the same and didn't talk audibly. I never heard a word from them. They walked in a line on the sidewalk. Every door we went to, they waited for us to leave before going up to it, and then they would return. I was worried about them doing something funny like playing a trick on us because I had heard stories from my older siblings about kids beating up on younger kids and stealing their candies. I didn't want to lose them! I wanted to eat them until I was sick! I saw them standing there, politely, and flew off the handle. I told them to go away! I didn't like them following us. They just stood there. My sisters both said they were rude for not speaking. The next door we went to, they waited again for us to leave. I told them to go away and leave us alone. My brother chimed in to stop following us. My younger sister told them that their costumes weren't very original Only the smallest kids wore ghost costumes. My oldest sister told them that she would defend us from tricks played by nasty kids. I said that all they do is walk along the street anyway. They don't ring the doorbells or beg for candy or nothing like the other kids did. My eldest sister asked me how did I know. I told her that I watched them. They just stood at a door for a few seconds and then walked back to the sidewalk. She found that most interesting. She told them that if they were here for treats, they had better ask for them at the doors. They seemed to take this as sign that they were playing the game wrong. All four of them went up to the door that we had just left and one of them rang the doorbell. The man who served us came out and looked at them. He commented that their costume choice was VERY original. What did they do? Get them in the same sheet sale? They stood very still. He told them that they didn't talk much. They didn't say anything. He asked them if they wanted candy. He told them to hold up their bags and he will give them some. They held out their bags. he gave them each some candies. They all looked inside their bags and it looked like their were puzzled or displeased or something. The man asked the ghosts if there was something wrong or did he not give them enough. I never heard the reply. He sure did. He looked at them kind of funny and then slammed the door in their faces. He wouldn't answer the door after that. He just kept pulling the curtain aside long enough to make sure that there were no ghosts coming to his door. My sister was satisfied that they behaved properly as true trick or treaters did and we walked some more. My eldest sister decided that it was time to go to the party at the school and we had to cross a couple of streets. I was slow and when it came time to cross a street, I just walked on without looking both ways first. I heard the car screech to a stop and I was dragged off by my siblings. My eldest sister held onto my hand after that. I felt something else, though. I couldn't be sure, but the car stopped early. When we got to the school, the ghosts came up to the entrance and refused to go in. I saw something in the high windows of the gym. It was white and it moved sideways a bit before lowering from view. The windows were on the second floor at least eight feet from the floor.

I remember a day that I missed the bus. I spent the whole day at home watching TV or doing my homework. ( I sometimes was lazy and didn't do my homework until my lunch time. ) The next day I went to school and a neighbour of mine asked me about something he talked about to me the previous day in school. I told him that I didn't talk to him the previous day in school because I had missed the bus. He told me that I couldn't have missed teh bus that day because I was on it. He should know, he saw me! I told him that I watched a lot of TV that day and told him what programs I saw. ( We only had 3 channels to watch. Two Canadian English and One American. The French Canadian stations weren't interesting. ) He accepted the explanation that I stayed at home but couldn't account for talking to me during our lunch wave. I didn't understand why he thought that he talked to me during our lunch wave. A few days later, I had a dream that I was waiting for the bus at my bus stop. It stopped on a back road that ran behind our house where it picked up the neighbour that I talked to a quarter of a mile before. I knew it was a dream. I got on the bus and went to school. ( I had many stupid dreams of going to school, even after I had graduated university. ) I was in class and told myself that it was boring and since it was a dream, I could wake up whenever I wanted to. I didn't wake up. I went to the next class and the next. All completely boring. The one thing that I do remember is that I forgot all my books at home. I didn't even have anything to write notes down with. No pen or paper. I had to borrow everything. I usually never borrowed anything. When I had my last class of the morning, I went to lunch and found that I didn't bring anything with me and I had no money to pay for the cafeteria lunch. I walked around the halls in hunger and my neighbour came up to me and asked me what was wrong. I told him that I had forgot everything at home that day and didn't even have lunch. We talked about different classes and I confessed to him that it was all a dream and I was going to wake up sometime and it will be all over. He thought this a bit weird and hoped that my view was the correct one because he hadn't done his homework for the next class. I kept hoping that the dream would stop and I would wake up in bed. No such luck. I went to all the afternoon classes and even had phys-ed. ( No taking notes though I had always hated it. ) I finished my day and found that since I had no books with me, I didn't have to take them home. When I got off the bus, I woke up! I never made it into the house. I got dressed and went to school that day more prepared. When I met my neighbour, I told him about my dream. He said that I acted funny all day that day. He even commented on my being hungry since I didn't take my lunch with me. ( I rarely did that. Lunch was the only time that I was always good at doing something; eating. )

Another time I waited for the bus and it was late. Over an hour late. When I got off the bus, I went to my classes like normal. I had missed my first two classes. The teachers never missed me because the morning roll call included me! I had missed it and yet the teacher, and some of the students, distinctly remember me being in the early morning classes. Who was it in those classes?

When I was about ten, I was playing hide and go seek with two neighbour kids. A boy and a girl. We were playing on a hill across the road from where I lived. There was a sand pit on one end of the hill next to the road on the south side. My house was east of the hill. I found a nice place to hide when it was the boy's turn to seek and his sister found another place to hide. I was waiting to be found and I thought the boy found his sister because she shrieked. Then everything went quiet. I heard them talking again and thought that this is it. They are both looking for me. The girl called me and went near where I was hiding. I kept my mouth shut. She kept calling and her brother joined in. I thought that it was a trick or something to get me out of hiding. They suddenly changed their call and told me that they had to go. They wanted me to come with them. I thought that their mother wanted them to come home and left my hiding place. The girl came up to me and told me that we all had to go together. They were waiting for us. I thought it strange that their mother wanted me to come home with them. She didn't like me. I was a bad influence on her children. I was going to lead them into a life of crime because I was poor. Only poor people commit crimes in her view of the world. I said that since they were going home, I would go home too. The girl told me that I had to come too. I didn't understand. I asked her where I had to go. She pointed to the south and told me that I had to go there. I looked at where she pointed and it looked like somebody had put a picture without a frame up in midair. The picture was of an interior of a structure. When I approached it, I saw movement inside the picture. There were beings moving inside a picture? One of the aliens came up to me and told me that we had to go in, now! I looked at the image and it was floating 1 foot away from the edge of the sand pit and 12 feet in the air. It was an alien gate. The gate was attached to the outside of a ship that was hovering over the sand pit. The rest of the ship was cloaked. The boy and the girl got in and I hesitated because I didn't think that I could make the step without falling in between. I jumped and pushed with my mind. I flew into the ship and almost hit the wall on the inside about 25 feet in. The next thing I knew, I was stepping out of the gate and the boy and the girl followed me. A car stopped on the highway that was in between my house and the hill that I was on. They backed up and looked at us. I think that the driver saw us appear out of nowhere. The gate disappeared and the driver got a strange look on his face. He turned around and drove south as if nothing had happened. The boy looked at the sky and the sun was in a different position to what it was when we last remembered it. They decided to go home as it must have been dinner time. My mother came out of our house and called me. She said that I had to come for dinner. The boy asked her what time it was. She answered that it was 4:30 (pm). We all went to our homes.

When I was ten, I was abducted with a whole bunch of people that I didn't know as well as some that I did. There was one fellow that talked to me and I couldn't make out what he was saying. I read his mind and gave him my thoughts. A neighbour boy came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I told him that I couldn't understand what the boy was saying so I used my mind to read his mind. The boy started talking and I still couldn't understand his words. I asked my neighbour what language did he think that he was speaking. He told me English! The neighbour boy had Scottish parents and the newcomer came from Scotland too. Boy, did I feel sheepish! I asked the neighbour to translate for me. I found this slow but satisfactory. I lost interest and went to another person. He was not English. I could tell from the accent that he wasn't. I used telepathy to talk to him and he told me that he was from Finland. We found many European countries and Australia/New Zealand represented. We even had some Black Americans and Black Brits ( try saying that fast! ) but there were few black faces in the crowds. I remember "talking" to a girl from Sweden. She found it fun to use telepathy and started to use it with everybody she met. This all went fine and I went over to the black kids. I tried to use telepathy on them and they just laughed. One came up to me and told me he was from Georgia. I asked which country was Georgia? He laughed even harder and told me Georgia was a state in the United States. He told me that he had heard me speak English, so found it funny that I thought he was from another country. I told him that he was from another country as I was from Canada. I told him that the ship was in Canada because that is where I walked on. He told me that the ship was in his school's playground in his town in Georgia. I can't remember where he lived, so I am leaving it out. He said that I must have been asleep and they took me to his town. I told him that we all were asleep, but we were here now! We all laughed at this. He went around telling other kids this thought and pointed at me as the originator. ( Funny how such things amuse kids. ) I tired of being the centre of unwanted attention, so I went somewhere else. I noticed that most of the kids were about my age with a few who were "more mature". I went over to talk to some of the "more mature" kids and they walked away from me. I tried to get their attention by pushing my telepathy hard at them. They put their hands over their temples and fled even quicker. I asked one what was wrong. She told me to go away. I asked her why. She said that I was creepy and she didn't want to be seen associating with me. What I did hurt her head and would I please not do that to her again. I left her alone. I talked to others and used telepathy at a quieter level on more kids. It was fun communicating with so many different people. I got tired of the whole thing and found a place to sit down and watch the whole world pass by. Sometimes, I would be asked to translate something for somebody else and I would do simultaneous translating from someone's mind to someone else's. After this was over, I was asked by the greys to stay behind. I was curious as to why they wanted me to stay, so I stayed. When they got rid of almost everybody, one grey asked me if I liked the meeting of many peoples. I told "him" it was fun. ( I am putting the pronoun in quotes as I can't remember if it was female or male. ) "He" asked me if I wanted to do it again as a favour for them. I asked if it would be a job or just something occasional. "He" told me it would be a job with a reward. A returned favour if you will. I told "him" that I would do it for free. I asked "him" if I had to do it now. "He" told me that it would be later. I went home. About a week and a half later, I was taken aboard and asked if I still wanted to do the translation job. I said that I did. I was led deeper inside and was shocked to find so many black faces! I had never seen so many black people in my life! It was like a sea of ever changing shades of dark brown. I think that this must be what the first black slaves saw when they landed in America except in white. I went over to one kid and talked to him with my mind and he ran away! I couldn't understand it. I went to another kid and he ran away too. They all started to run away from me! I cornered a smaller girl and asked her what the problem was. She kept thinking that I was an alien like the greys and they were scared of me! I let her go after trying to convince her that I was as human as she was. She kept screaming at me and shrieking in her language to get away from her! Her brother came to defend her and he chickened out at the last moment. I turned around and walked away from them. I saw a white face in the crowd and went over to him. He was from Finland and couldn't understand anything the black kids said or why they were so scared. I saw a black kid try to talk to another one and he started to ask in English where they were from. Both sides couldn't understand each other. I went over to him and talked to him in English and he asked me what language they were speaking as he came from North Carolina and didn't understand what they were chattering about. I offered to use telepathy and he didn't understand what I meant. I demonstrated it to him and he said " Oh! Mind talk! I know how to do that! When I tried to use telepathy the African kid ( I assume he was from Africa somewhere. ) he freaked! He kept thinking about the devil and evil spirits. I told my North Carolinan buddy to use telepathy himself on somebody. He did and they were less scared of him. His sister came up to him and asked him what he was doing because she couldn't hear him talk. He told her that he was using mind talk. She nodded understanding and started to communicate the same way. Whenever I tried to make myself known, the other kids still freaked. I was a devil spirit to them. I was trying to take their souls from them. I told them that I was no such thing. I was as human as they were. The boy and girl from North Carolina had more success in talking to other black kids. They got me involved in conversations when they didn't understand the concepts they were given. ( The boy was only 8 and his sister was almost 6 ). I tried to translate some of the funny ideas that they had ( funny for me, anyway ) and pieced together some of their beliefs. Some of them were asked about their dreams every morning by their elders. If their dreams were about things like devils or things like that, they would be exorcised of the offending demon. They didn't know what to tell their elders about this dream that they were having. I told them that it wasn't a dream. They didn't like that. I told them that maybe they should lie and tell them something else instead of what happened now. Some of the kids refused to lie, because they knew that they would be found out and punished for lying. One girl, from Ghana I think, told me that she was going to tell her elders that she dreamed of communicating with different kids in her own language and they responded in her own language. She was going to tell them that in her dream, every single one of the kids in her dream, even the funny looking white one ( me ), used the same language. The language was her own. I thought about this and concluded that it was a great idea because the elders would interpret it as a dream of hope about one world using one language and there would be no communication problems. All the other kids with similar beliefs were told to use this story when they were asked about their dreams. If the elders or their parents didn't ask them about their dreams, they were not to volunteer any story. The boy and girl from North Carolina said that their parents didn't mind that they dreamed about using mind talk to communicate with other kids. They even asked me to tell them where in the States I came from so that they might visit me. I told them that I came from Canada. The boy said "Canada? Which state is that? I had never heard of a state called Canada!" I told him that Canada was another country that was quite close to the United States. He asked if it was south of Mexico. I told him that it was north of Vermont. He thought about it and then said " Vermont? Isn't that where there is maple sugar? Do you mean that you live with the eskimos? You sure don't look like no eskimo!" I told him that Canada had eskimos, but they lived very far to the north. I lived in Quebec which had sugar maples too. Quebec bordered Vermont. He understood that we might not see each other again as we lived too far from each other.

The neighbour boy and girl would not talk about their UFO experiences with me and at the time, I thought that they were just dreams. Now, I don't think that they were dreams. Too much has happened to me that was not normal to expect that they are merely good thoughts or bizarre ideas that my mind was playing around with. The girl sometimes alluded to special people that had to be obeyed, but clammed up if I tried to get more out of her. Both of them even told me that they heard a funny warbling noise coming from behind their house on different occasions. I asked them what noise it was and they couldn't describe it, but when I tried to imitate the noise that I had heard coming from a common neighbour's field, they agreed that it was the same noise that they had heard.

I was ten years old when I saw this. I was playing on the hill behind our house with my brother and two neighbour kids. I looked up and saw the sun. I went back to paying attention to everybody else and I suddenly realised that the sun was in the wrong position for that time of day. I looked up again and sure enough it was there and it was going down in the east. My brother thought that I had lost interest in what he was saying and was trying to get my attention. The neighbour boy looked at me and asked me what I was looking at. I told him that I was looking at the sun. He thought that I was behaving stupidly as people should not look at the sun with the naked eye. I kept looking at this sun setting visibly in the east and he asked me again what I was looking at. I told him that the sun was setting in the east. He told me that the sun sets in the west, not the east and I was being silly. I asked him to look at it and see for himself. I pointed out the sun that I had seen and He told me that it was not setting. It was staying where it should be in the sky. Just then his sister asked me where the sun was in the sky and why it should set in the west. I explained about the rotation of the earth and how it was supposed to happen. Then I looked for it again and saw the sun but it was much higher up in the sky than I remembered the last time I looked. I looked over at the neighbour boy and he was looking in a different direction. I looked in his direction and saw that the sun was indeed setting in the east. We made sure of this by reminding ourselves where the sunrise occurred at our lattitude and area. Everybody agreed on where the sun should rise from where we were according to the time of year. Yet when I looked at it, it was setting and growing bigger! Then I looked further up in the sky and saw the same familiar sun where it should be. I thought, "Could it be?" I suddenly had the idea that what I was watching was not the sun at all because there were two suns in the sky! One was rising perfectly normally to it's zenith and the other one was getting larger and setting more visibly in the east. I told everybody that that was not the sun. The neighbour boy thought that I was playing a game intended to frighten everybody and thus make them look like fools to my psychological practical joke. He csaid that it must be the sun. It was the same colour and about the same size as the sun. I told him that it couldn't be the sun because the sun was over there! ( I pointed to the real sun. ) He looked at it and said, so? That was the sun. I asked him what the other thing was. He looked at it and said that that was the sun. I asked him if he saw only one sun in the sky or two. He told me that there was only one sun in the sky and that was it! I asked him to look at another object that looked like the sun. I pointed to the one that was higher in the sky. He said that that was the sun. I asked him which object was the sun. I ointed out both of them and then he suddenly realised that there were two suns in the sky! My brother was a little slower to realise it as he was trying to meet the expectations of what he was supposed to see and not meeting them, couldn't bring himself to admit that we were seeing two objects when there should be only one. The neighbour girl was getting scared at our talk of two suns in the sky and one was landing nearby! She wanted me to take her and her brother home before going home myself, alone. My brother was all for running home on his own. Since the hill was between our homes, I wanted to go home with my brother and I wanted the neighbour kids to go home together without me. I also wanted to do some rough measurements. I held my thumb up to the setting object and it was bigger than my thumb at arm's length. I held up two thumbs at arm's length and just covered it. I moved one thumb over the other and the object was slightly bigger than one and a half thumbs at arm's length. I tried to get an idea of where it was heading and assumed that it was heading for a field about half a mile away. ( There was no clear landing areas nearer than that on it current trajectory. The next nearest one was over two miles away. It might have been over three miles, but I'm not good at judging distances. ) I watched it slowly settle down and it was in the position of the sun at about six o'clock in the morning before we all went to our respective homes. On another day, I measured the distance from my eye to my thumb and concluded that it was about 20 inches away. I measured my thumbs and the two covered one and a half quarters. A Canadian quarter is one inch in diametre. So it appeared to be about 1 1/4 inches at that distance when I was looking 21 inches from my eyes. I measured the distance from the supposed landing field ( we had heard a lot of strange noises during the day at times from the field. Sort of like a bird warbling but it got the abrupt cut off of a PA system. The sort of "clunk" at the end. ) to the place that I viewed the event and couldn't stay on a straight line. I remeasured it and counted my steps and concluded that it was about half a mile from where I was. I didn't really measure it exactly. I can't walk straight up a hillside that steep. So my error was from about half a mile ( 2640 ft. ) to 2900 ft. I think that 2700 to 2800 ft was about right but have to take into account that I didn't walk as straight as a laser. If it was at the minimums, it was a sphere about 140 feet in diametre. At my guesstimate it was more like 160 to 170 feet in diametre. ( I get 165 when I do the math. ) Quite a large "sun" to be landing nearby on the earth. Not as large as some other UFO's that are reported, but a respectable size.Take note that this object was not doing any fancy maneuvering or anything like that. It was descending straight down or as straight as I could see. At the time that I used my thumbs for reference, it appeared to be at it's maximum size. I never waited to find out! It looked just like the sun in colour and appeared to be smaller in size in the beginning. The apparent growing and lowering tipped me off that it was a bit unusual. I remembered sphere's like this from my "dreams" about being abducted. The sphere was lit up as if it was glowing from the inside. I think that they fired up the drive to give us a beacon to follow as the gravity drives generate light as a byproduct of interaction with an oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere. I even posted a topic about flying one of these.

This was not a dream. This was about as real as it gets without actually touching it. The neighbour kids came back to me and asked me to play at a later date. They were wary of standing in the same spot for fear that it actually called the object to be observed. We stood there for a while and nothing happened. They calmed down but refused to play in that spot for a couple of weeks. When I asked them about it, they remembered it the same way that I wrote it out here. I think that as memories go, it is about 95% accurate. I know. Memories are edited and details added or taken away. I do think that I remember things like measurements, but I can't be absolutely certain.
