the only problem i have are the craft that seem to be flying pretty slow towards andromeda? perhaps it was more aesthetically pleasing to show a bunch of rocket type craft leaving mars...

It's interesting. Seems to be along the idea that benevolent beings populated Earth. That's cool.

Anyone would be a fool to take this as fact. But it hints at a basic idea that helps people to better understand the world we live on.

I think that the possibilities remain open! as long as we dont know for sure how it all went.

to write off science fiction would be writing off modern technology as we know it.

Actually, I have a feeling, because of the way we are as a society (in western countries, anyway) that even in the actual Creator came and once and for all revealed Himself, most people wouldn't even believe Him and would even be violent towards Him. Hmmm, sounds kind of familiar.

you would'nt happen to be referring to the day that thousands of anti aircraft rounds were fired at a giant ufo above l.a., and 6 civilians were killed by falling debris? say, around 50 to 60 years ago?

Few people believe that these were UFO's. Several people died that night, at least one from a heart attack, and, let's face it, a .50 caliber round or flak from a 5" gun falling out of the sky wouldn't feel too good if it happened to land on someone. Radar was pretty new and primitive back then, and many people believe that once one ready gunner pulled the trigger at something he thought he might have seen, it sorta "broke the ice" for everyone else. If you google "battle of los angeles", you'll come up with something.

That is because there is a fundamental misconception with the idea and allot of betrayal.

I love the movie. Who cares about technical shit anyway, it's just a movie. that's why it's called fantasy!

ohhh it's all fantasy hun. I mean it may have some aspects based on what we THINK is true over the years from everyone's knowledge. But the actual story itself is of course fantasy. I wouldn't go believing the movies dear, that's a route you probably don't want to take. But to find similarities I think is awesome. For example I don't know if you ever saw the Steven Spieldburg TV series called "Taken"...that to me seems very close to what people talk about in the ufology community. Check it out if you ever get the time. It's awesome! It should be rentable on DVD.

its a good movie though.i feel our beginnings came with event that killed the dinosuars,if it hadn't ,we wouldn't be here.i don't think our reign will be a long one..we are far to destructive to the enviroment in which we need to survive.
