Default David Icke. Anyone read his stuff?

I read Children of the Matrix back during my freshman year of college. Back then I was planning on becoming a paranormal investigator (did not pan out, because paranormal investigators usually don't last long if they freak out when they DO find something. lol.), so I wanted to know every possible conspiracy theory, cryptozoology species, demon, ghost folklore, etc... I was like Giles from Buffy almost. I stumbled across Children of the Matrix and read it, and remembered thinking to myself, "**** this guy's nuttier than chinese chicken salad!"

Basically, Icke believes that the Illuminati is secretly a race of advanced reptilians who sacrifice/have sex with humans to gain their souls/power, and that every single major member of every government/powerful corporation is one of these Reptilian Illuminati members.

Well, as I'm learning more about different species of aliens, the similarities keep popping up. I'd love to hear you guys' opinion on Mr. Icke if you know anything about him.

I still think some of the stuff is REALLY far-fetched. Dubya was WAY too stupid to be one of these intellectually advanced creatures, and I seriously doubt that the uber-frail Queen Mother shapeshifts into an 8 foot reptile and sacrifices children. But anything is possible I suppose. Maybe with Dubya he was a retarded reptilian, and the only job left over was President. Ha.

The military industrial complex is basically what your refering to thats when Big biz and big brother join together to squash out the competition and ultimatly controll the populace and grow fat off the labor of the common folk. Nothing mystical about that just good ole exploitation of thems that don't by thems that have. Kings, queens, dukes, ect... have been replaced with CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, and resource barrons. Its been around forever.

I read one book and am reading another. Also seen several videos. He has a lot of witnesses to back him up. Alex Jones thought he was a little far fetched but now agrees with 99% of what he says. Look at all the ancient religions. They are all based on the serpent or the dragon(reptiles). When you study secret societies, politics, and royalties; It's hard for me to disagree with him.

David Icke is a phychopath. I posted a thread about reptillians recently, and his name was mentioned and I googled him. He is insane! I have never read any of his stuff, and I have no desire to unless I need a good laugh. He even claimed to be Jesus once. LOL what a nutcase.

    Hey opr,

I know he is nuts because I have read articles and seen interviews of him. I know his views on the world and who "really" controls it. Please feel free to tell me your views on him, but he's one strange cookie in my point of view.

Actually Icke has said that US presidents usually are not that high up in the hierarchy of the Illuminati. I've read ...and the truth shall set you free and watched some of his documentaries, I have to say I think he is on to something with some of his theories. Are 100% of his theories true? probably not, but after looking into a good majority of them I have to say the evidence can be compelling.
    bill.zen, a dose of truth!

one thing I do find interesting about Mr. Icke, that Dave Starbuck commented on, is that although he's been something of a figurehead for a lot of people in the field of the paranormal because of his fame, he doesn't do a lot of his own research. He's more of a story teller that borrows other peoples info and retells it in his own charismatic way to make people aware of what is going on.

Now I'm not entirely against that, because the more people that can be made aware of the things that are going on, even if he's not right about everything he says--such as who may or may not be a draco-reptilian--the better, but it'd be nice if he, considering the kind of money, fame, and popularity he has, did some more research of his own, because people like Dave Starbuck do enough research on their own to ensure that they at least get the respect of getting credited and cited when their work is borrowed and relayed by someone else.
