I have hear it said that parallel universes exist in the same space with each other. Could it be that molecules from one universe can present in another if the membrane is weak in a certain aria? For instance when people see apparitions could they be seeing people from other universes whose molecules are partly presenting in ours?

If parellel universes exist, then their parameters are unknown and it is all just a guess at this point.

It is the most popular theory currently in the spotlight that space is multidimensional.

Nothing about it has been proven. No predictions produced by the theory have been made.

It could all turn out to be a big theory of nothing.

There are other theories of what reality is where there are no dimensionally parellel universes.

Unfortunatly, much of mainstream science is still practiced like a faith based religion.

They embrace parellel universe theory, for which there is absolutly no evidence.
And deny the possibility of UFO's being of alien origin, for which there is a great deal of evidence.

Whatever works, use it.

A good idea stands on its own value independent of authorship.
If it stands or falls on the credibility of the author, maybe it isn't such a good idea.

No person who truly enjoy science embraces it, only pseudo-scientists and the public. Since as you said, it's evidenceless. Accepting something which has no evidence goes completely against the entire point of the scientific method.
Unfortunately, TV Shows, and "Public science" is the main source of the public's knowledge of it.

Paraell universes may or may not exist. From what I understand, there's no real reason they should exist. We can't predict something which has no gap to fill.

It's not evidence, SOUL. It's an idea, with no real link. (The Trusted Log link)
And the title of the article is bordering on ridiculous.

I like the idea of Parallel universes. But I dislike bad scientific methods. Such as the absence of one.

I'll read through the mit.edu link, which looks a little more reliable.
But, from what I see, it's just an idea, based upon lots of assumptions. I'll carry on reading though.

Ahh, now those links are far better, SOUL. =)
Many of it is based upon assumptions.

The idea of many universes is untestable, meaning it's also unfalsifiable.
There's no empirical tests for it, and according to many of the models, there never will be. It's likely to just remain a hypothesis.
Note, if the multiverse and our universe did interact, it's testable, or will be eventually. So if that idea of the massive empty spot being due to it is true, we'd find out eventually. Otherwise, it's like God. It either exists or doesn't, but either way has no effect no direct effect on our lives.
