Strange UFO dream?

Hi, I am new here. I wouldn't consider myself a 'believer' in aliens and UFOs, but I certainly am interested in the subject.

I always thought that UFOs were government aircraft they don't want us to know about. The idea of extraterrestrial beings involved seemed a bit outlandish to me. However, I often wonder if there are people in this planet who have scientific knowledge beyond our general understanding. Perhaps they know more than we do and try to keep this information covered up. I find the whole topic very fascinating and interesting.

I found this forum and was wondering if anyone here had any personal experiences of encountering a UFO or being abducted. Here is my story. I am convinced it was a dream and nothing more, but you never know.

It happened about a month or two ago, and the experience was pretty confusing because it felt very realistic, and it did not feel like a dream. Also, I rarely ever remember my dreams, but I remember this one very vividly.

Basically I woke up in the middle of the night, around 2AM, not sure why, but I was somehow drawn to the bathroom window, and outside was a big space ship in my neighbours back yard. I remember my family getting up to come look at it, and we were all very frightened. I could see aliens inside it moving around. Suddenly I see them staring up at us, as if they knew we were looking through the window at them. That's all I remember. I had never felt so terrified in a dream.

Just thinking about it makes me frightened, because of all the stories about alien dreams and such. My dream sounds similar to other people's stories.

HOWEVER, around the time of that dream I had been reading a lot about aliens/UFOs and such and I think I was even watching something on TV about it that week. Also none of my other family members remember having any such dream. So its very possible that all of this was just a terrifying dream created by the alien stories I had been watching.

Whatever it was, it still scares me when I think about it.

What do you guys think?

You might ask your family if they dreamt the same thing.

She did ask them ("Also none of my other family members remember having any such dream."), they said no. Most likely a vivid dream; possibly something she experienced as a lucid dream with actual aliens. It's certainly something to think about if it ever happens again.

What did they look like, do you remember at all, swirled01?

just generic gray skinny looking people. I thought I had other similar dreams, where I wake up and see a UFO out the window, but I don't remember those as vividly.

Swirled01, how big was the UFO?
I ask because the size of your backyard wouldn't necessarily have any bearing on the size of the UFO.

I am not sure how large they were..since I've never actually *seen* a UFO so I have nothing to compare it to. In my dream though, it landed in a large grass field behind the neighbour's house.

So I suppose it was fairly big?
