Thread: Eerie dreams that leave you feeling great!

I had a strange and very cool dream the other night that makes me want to dicuss dreams that relate to the paranormal or supernatural. Does anyone find that exposing themselves to these sort of topics causes them to leak into their dream world? I don't get them too often but I wish they would occur more frequently because they always end up leaving me in a very eaerie mood after waking up.

I had a bizarre one last week as I drifted in and out of sleep while listening to Coast to Coast AM. It didn't necessarily have anything to do with that night's topic, which was the Smiley Face Killer(s). But the Coast music and shit made a really eerie atmosphere for the dream. It's one of those dreams that you can't understand the vibe of it unless you experienced it yourself. If anyone who has had dreams like this, they know how creeped out they leave you feeling, yet you can't quite put your finger on why. But basically I remember being in the mud in the dark with some guy and we were picking these huge strange looking worms from the ground. The guy and the area I was in I am not familiar with in real life. The atmosphere was incredibly dark. I don't recall physically what it was that was so strange about the worms, but I remember they were really odd just based on our reaction of it. I remember we both seemed very baffled when we saw them and continued to pull a couple more out. We looked at each other and it was if there was some silent ackowledgement that we both considered a supernatural force was altering the biological make-up of the Earth. What was most unsettling was that we viewed this as a sign that more mysterious changes were to come. Overall, the dream was incredibly short and I ended up waking up at that point. But it left me in such a disconcertingly enjoyable mood.
