Okay, so before last night I had never, to my recollection, had a dream about aliens or related matters. I've had dreams about all sorts of weird stuff I don't even care to discuss, but never ETs. So it goes something like this...
It's midsummer, nearing dusk with enough light for about two more hours of target practise with my un-scoped rifle. Myself and three male friends are in one of my hunting stands while my other male friend, who has not been feeling well since we got to the camp, sleeps and four of my female friends just hang out at the cabin.
I'm out at a hunting camp with several friends. I've been there a million times and explored every inch of the land within about ten kilometres in every direction on foot before. Safe to say I know my way around.
I'm teaching one of my friends how to judge a shot with one of my rifles (2 rifles between 5 guys and 4 girls) before firing and I get this sudden chill. I notice the hair on my friend's arm standing on end and I decide to go out and check the nearby thermometre.
As I stand up, suddenly the sunlight disappears as if several hours have passed in just a moment. I take a moment to turn and look down at my friends who are still chatting and aiming at the targets as though they see them as clearly as if it were midday. I continue on to check the thermometre, using my cell phone camera's light to make sure I stay on path.
On my way, I hear the sound of coming from the woods on both of my flanks, it sounds as if someone or something is trying to overtake me. My only thought is that it is animals and that I am about to be attacked but I press on anyways, reasoning that turning and running would only provoke the attack further.
As I reach the thermometre station, the sounds suddenly cease to my exact left and right and another chill runs down my spine. I can see my breath. My teeth are starting to chatter and my hands to shake.
I reach out to open the cover that protects the thermometre and a hand suddenly grabs mine. The hand belongs to my sick friend and it is covered in blood which is quickly soaking into my clothing. He tries again and again to vocalise something to me but only manages short bursts of a single syllable (onomatopoeia would dictate that it be: 'hua'). The harder he tries, the more desperate and strained the sounds become and he suddenly collapses after a couple more tries.
It's just then that I see that his shirt has been torn to shreds in the back and his flesh is in even worse condition. A Y-shaped scorch mark, spanning the width of his back, is the only thing that interrupts the carnage on his body.
Suddenly, I am grabbed by the other arm and the heat of the touch is overwhelming, almost a searing hot pain. I am abruptly spun around to face what had attacked my friend.
The main body of the creature was no bigger than my torso and the main feature of it is the mouth. Oddly shaped teeth that seem capable of belonging to a carnivore and a herbivore at the same time as well as being able to 'strain' (like huge whales that only eat plankton). The other main feature is the 'tail' which hangs directly from the bottom of the creature but does not touch the ground. From the sides of the body are two massively muscular 'arms' that support the whole creature as our legs support us. Under the mouth are two more sets of 'arms', one above the other, one with the Y-shaped hand with the very hot touch, the other with almost sickle-like natural blades. Its eyes are like looking into binoculars in the darkest of moonless nights. The whole creature is red-brown in colour.
I struggle against the grip and manage to just barely break free as one of the claws lashes out at me. It still slices neatly into my left upper arm, though not very deep.
I run like a madman back towards the cabin, listening to the beast close in on me the entire way. I nearly make it around to the front door, but as I round the corner, I am clotheslined by an arm clad in black. My breathing restricted, I pass out.
I wake up half laying, half sitting in a vat filled high enough for the strange red liquid to cover my stomach. Still groggy and in pain, my movements are slow and take more effort than they should. I begin to look around slowly. I see that my vat is only one of hundreds, maybe thousands that form a lazily arcing circle. Each one has a human in it, most of them are in some process of being flayed and dissected by small machines that originate from the wall behind their heads.
I turn quickly to see if there is one behind me and I see another of the black clad beings followed closely by a creature similar to the one that had attacked us. The colouring was different; red-brown on the first, red-yellow on this one. The appendages were different; the first had 2 'hands' and 2 'scythes', this one had three five-fingered hands and one that looked closer to a lobster claw.
The figure in black stepped forward and a piercing pain stabbed into my left temple, forcing me to close one eye. I had the feeling that I should turn away. When I did I noticed that there was a being in black and a creature monitoring each human from behind. Why hadn't I seen them before.
"Do you want to die?" A voice sprang into my head. "Humanity is currently in the process of being rendered into manageable pieces for recycling purposes."
Just then a vat to my left made a shrill sucking noise and emptied its contents through the bottom. I looked downward expecting to see where the contents were going, and surprisingly I could. I could see right out into the ocean where several more ships similar (I presume) to the one I was (presumably) on that were also dumping 'rendered human' into the unusually still blue waters.
"I ask again, do you want to die?" It asked more forcibly, adding another sharp pain in my temple.
I slowly shook my head.
"Then you are free to go."
I turned to see that the being and its creature were standing aside as if to let me pass, should I so choose.
I chose.
I slowly raised myself out of the vat and was pointed towards an open doorway by another being without a creature. I realized that I was completely nude and covered myself as I limped for the entryway. The light was so bright on the other side that co could not see what awaited me, but I really didn't care anymore.
Just a few steps from the door and I started to hear an awkward thumping coming closer and closer.
The creature that had attacked us in the woods was bounding after me, ready to strike.
I made my way as quickly as I could to the door and before I knew what had happened, I was in freefall. I was falling towards the ocean with ever-increasing speed.
Just before I hit the water I saw my own reflection and I woke up in a cold sweat.
Also, upon waking up and getting in the shower, I discovered that I had/have a nice, fresh cut on my shoulder. It's barely visible in the picture on my upper left arm but its there.
I have just decided that I am almost entirely against 'first' contact.
Ummmm wow that is interesting. You know of anything that could of caused the scratch?
I stayed in bed all day the day before and today because my roommate brought home this nasty chest cold from work. I do have a book case beside my bed but it stands about a foot and a half taller than it. There's probably some rational reason for the scratch (I've been sick so I haven't had any 'company' either... /cry) but nothing crosses my mind.Originally posted by his ride2;280193

Its about four inches higher than the one in my dream and on too low of an angle as well. It was just a little strange for a coincidence... I'm not jumping to conclusions, though. Maybe my roommate will know if I was stumbling around in the night because he always gets up to make sure that i don't do anything too stupid. I have an ongoing habit of sleepwalking and he's just kinda grown accustomed to it. he just walks ahead of me and blocks my way if I'm headed for the door or shuts off things like the oven or random lights if and most likely when I turn them on.
Sleepwalking is a possibility. Idk much about this but could you have made yourself do that? When it happened in your dream it could have happened to you in real life if your mind thought it was really happening and all. Like I said I dont know if that could happen I think I heard it could though.
Yeah, thats why I made the connection. I was reading somewhere that if your mind is still 'connected' to your body while you're dreaming and you are injured in the dream it could manifest itself in real life... Some Freddy Krueger sh*t here... And because I sleepwalk, I know that my body isn't fully being disconnected from my mind when I sleep...Originally posted by his ride2;280225

wow scary story... Sounds like they were reptilians or somthing, weird Y shape hands thats somthing I never heard before. And that was a dream, damn you have good memmory. I wonder how teh hell you got that dream, very strange stuff, did you do anything out of the ordinary before you had the dream??
edit:
oh DAMN you were sick? When ever I am sick and go into deep sleep, my dreams are very intense, it is weird i think there is somthing to go into play when your sick. Ive had the really weird ones like yours mainly only when I had fevers or any real sickness or a pretty major difference in my life. The mind is really amazing, I dont know what else to say the things you come up with, I guess your imagination is amplified when you are sick and your body itself is acting upon the illness and memmory or somthing with imagination. Weird stuff...
As usual my focus is on the actual creatures -- so much subconscious goes into dream entities that it's hard for me not to focus on it. I don't suppose there's any way for you to sketch up what they looked like? It's very hard to imagine them.
Sick dreams are the best. I once had a dream I was in a spaceship doing battle with the flu virus I had a couple years ago.
Numaul
I'm sorry to hear that your dream / first contact was not that good. I wish you all the best and please don't let that dream take you down. There's always hope and there's plenty of nice people and beings around. Believe![]()
Without trying to sound like too much of an authority (?!), the dream you described reminds me of some of the accounts of DMT trippers. Some people have been attacked and even raped during the hallucination (?).
I've also heard of what they call 'artifacts' being brought back from the trip, things like scratches and bruises, which seem to coincide with injuries sustained in the DMT 'realm'.
I've got the opposite problem to you - my brain doesn't switch my body back on after I wake sometimes, causing paralysis. Scares the living s**t out of me, especially when I have awoken from a weird dream...
Yeah I guess I didn't go into enough details about the beings that appeared to be in charge... I'll get on one of my drawing programs and do my best to draw. I'm not a visual artist...Originally posted by hotherym;280333
