And to be brutally honest, Flight... You have made a lot of posts that reflects some of the same attributes you say you hate in Pandas.
I hope you realize I don't genuinely hate Pandas that much lol They just annoy me. I rage about all kinds of things that share no similarities with me

As for my laziness, I don't hate that It's not something I project onto things I don't like, nor is it something I avoid acknowledging about myself..

Gah, because I'm a nazi about these things as I'm sure you've noticed in other threads lol...

Commonly accepted notions don't hold much weight among Psychologists.. In our first class we spent the entire three hours being shown that the majority of even decently educated people accept pop psychology as real psychology because the explanations become so common that people just stop questioning it.

Projection is actually a very specified coping/defensive mechanism that only certain personality types adopt. It depends on social factors, how parents argued, self confidence, all kinds of stuff.

When your average intelligent adult strongly dislikes something, it's a less than 25% chance that they're projecting, and over a 50% chance that they're associating the supposedly innocent target of aggression with some other external image or moment that creates those same feelings.

Not logical, but it's the actual most common source of random anger with very distinctive ideas or images that haven't caused harm to the person feeling it.

I wish I wasn't such a compulsive nerd at times lol

OH because I'm on a nerd role..

Today I learned that people with a dominant right brain hemisphere pick up on negative facial movements, and overall negative stimuli quicker than positive stimuli.

The dominent side depends on your dominant hand. So basically right handed people tend to clue into happy emotions in others faster than negative emotions.

And now I'm going to bed.

    Haha me too!

It's kinda funny like that.. I have two lefty friends who do the same thing as me, and I suppose this could be a factor in that.

I notice personally that unless someone's experiencing negative emotions, I struggle to read them. Unless it's very obvious that someone's happy, I'm either reading potential sadness or nothing at all.

Incidentally I have tons of friends who are all about the joy in others, but completely miss the signals when someone else is upset

Yep - My prof was saying that both lefties and righties see music slightly differently.. Righties are often more analytical in reading the music, while lefties are more likely to register the melody in a more abstract way

Man it's really fun to learn about.. Apparently women have less spacial awareness than men, but because the right hemisphere deals with spatial awareness, a woman with a strongly dominant right hemisphere could easily end up having more spatial awareness than your average right handed male.

    It's crazy!

What if you are ambidextrous?? I call myself left handed but I still like to use my right hand over my left to do certain things. I use my computer mouse with my right hand. Sometimes I will deliberately use my right hand to exercise my brain. It's weird, but it gives me a buzz! I like to practice the fine motor skills with my right hand and feel quiet comfortable doing this.
