RFID chip implanted into man gets computer virus

Researchers have found that implanted identity chips can pick up computer viruses.
Reading University's Mark Gasson conducted an experiment to show how radio frequency identity (RFID) chips could become electronically infected.
He explained to Rory Cellan-Jones the risks involved with the new technology including its effects on medical implants such as pacemakers.

I'd be just as concerned as to what would happen if I got close to a magnetic field or transmitter...electromagnet at the scrap yard, scanner at the airport, x-ray at the doctors office, using the microwave, high powered mobil two-way radio etc., etc...

im really glad it happened as I am very against implants like that. What ETs could do to you through them is quite scary. I hope the things you bring up would cause problems too.

ETs can do more to control and influence you telepathically than any implant.

I am not totally against it. If one could be developedthat would link our minds to a library of all human knowledge...think of what that could do for us...

I wish I could prove it but I'm betting that is NOT what they are for. If technological breakthroughs were for our best interest they wouldn't be suppressing it.

telepathy requires attention. Implants do not. They require an automated AI to alter them which ETs have at their disposal.

Automated AI controlling via an implant is far more powerful than telepathic influence. You could control an entire planet with a central computer. Doing that telepathically is very much so not reasonable or viable as there are much more efficient ways about doing it that require little to no work after the initial setup.

Would the human mind be able to take it though? Such a thing reminds me of a Borg style race... Individualism would have to stripped, as a link mind means a linked internal voice. With so much noise it'd be unbearable.
