Next election he will be shredded,he has made one mistake after another and those mistakes have cost the taxpayer trillions.

irrelevant, as less than half of those taxpayers vote; and--it doesn't really matter to most, as their style of life will continue no matter who is president of this country...

i guess a ten day vacation is excessive in these times, but since he's been in office, hasn't it always been like this? i mean, like ad and captain said, get them out of here for a few days , they maybe won't sign so many bills that mess the rest of us up...

personally, i am more offended at ms. obama's ' serfs ' or 'slaves'...didn't we have a thread about it? shoot, this vacation is costing us all, sure, but just how much are we paying for michelle's daily care? last i heard it was like 20 full time 'assistants'....

Umm, in the thread about Michelle's servants... I'm sure I found figures that her figure wasn't even high considering the volumes some of the previous presidents had.
It's just no one shone a light on it before...

A little higher than previous First Ladys...

A spokeswoman for the first lady says that Michelle Obama currently has a staff of 24. That may indeed be the largest of any first lady, but Hillary Clinton, with 19 staffers, and Laura Bush with at least 18 and perhaps more, weren’t far behind.

I'm not able to copy from the site for some reason, but it appears that Laura Bush actually had 24-26 by the end. (According to her former chief of staff, the 18 figure is outdated, it appears... Probably to make it not look as bad.)
So, it isn't unprecedented.

Obama and Congress are the biggest set of insider traders (traitors) the world has ever seen. There are not two sides, they just play good cop bad cop and point the finger at each other, while they all use fear and unrest to manipulate the stock market, getting even richer in the process.

Obama is setting a good example. During these hard times it is good to know that while the middle-class is being destroyed, the rich and powerful still get to do whatever the frick they want because they always create problems that make them richer while we get poorer.

I am really surprised there hasn't been a serious widespread revolution. It just goes to show you how willfully ignorant this country has become as a whole.
