    Seriously?

College graduates are some of the hardest hit people in regards to hiring.

It's easier to get a job at McDonalds or something than to go to work in your field of study.

Agreed... The prospects for graduates seem to be diminising quite a bit now.
However, the average wage of a graduate is still quite a lot higher than for a non-graduate, however, the difference in wage is decreasing... Bare in mind that most graduates choose to spend more years of their life in education, somewhat justifying their increased wages. (That, and the mountain of debt they will gain... Hell, I'm very lucky I didn't go to uni one year later, or else my final loan repayment I owe would have been £52,000 rather than £26,000)(Since most tuition fee's tripled in just 1 year...)
    Widening Income Gap

    Graduate unemployment increasing
    Pay advantage for graduates decreases

All these are UK stories, yes, but I imagine the same is true across America too.

How about teleportation, think of what that would do to the transportation industry and what of the day when the cost to produce small hand held devices to do this...what would that do to effect the world and security including bank vaults.
The point is someday such devices will be here and the world can not be as it is now or it would be total caos. We must move to a better society and system of government. It is never too early to start...but it's opposite could be very true.
    I like your logical views.
There would always be a value exchange system, though, right?

That would mean that "haves" and "have nots" are not exclusive to the monetary system.

Or maybe I'm not seeing something.

I believe the perfect system would be one where nobody works for money but work simply to be busy and contribute to the free system. People would work at what they enjoy doing best and in the area they choose if such work is needed there. Homes would not be privately owned, but society owned. An empty home can be moved into and used by anyone at anytime. Necessities would be provided as long as an honest contribution was made in the form of work and it could be in any area or type of work. No private companies. All would mostly be government/people/society owned and unwanted jobs would be done by automation or robots or androids. Waste and gluttony would have to be eliminated and strict world population control enabled to control and limit the use of natural resources. Things would be made to last. No more throw-a-way cheaply made items.
Those are just a few of the things I see one day coming to pass.

The only problem with the American Dream is that you have to be asleep. I believe George Carlin said that one.

the problem with natural resources is that they do not belong to the land owner....it all belongs to the governement......if you have something that the government needs, they can just take it.....in fact, even if you own land the gov can take it if they say they need it for something.......there is no feasible way for us as individuals to live independantly now......we are stuck with whatever the gov gives us now.........honestly, do you think if you have some gold on your yard and your neighbor wants to trade you for some wheat that the gov will allow that to take place without getting a cut? nope....too late.....if you are a u.s. citizen you should be aware that you have signed your rights aways years ago.
