Thanks to 9/11, or thanks to our funding of Islamic extremists in the 1970's-1980's? (and through to today - we're funding al Queda right now in Syria!)

Where that was leading was irrelevant. When regime change is the goal, terrorists, extremists, and acts of terrorism against the US are considered good things.

Land Destroyer: Brookings' "Which Path to Persia?"

    From the Brookings PDF:

For example, if Iran retaliated with a major terrorist attack that killed large numbers of people or a terrorist attack involving WMDs—especially on U.S. soil—Washington might decide that an invasion was the only way to deal with such a dangerous Iranian regime.

Indeed, for this same reason, efforts to promote regime change in Iran might be intended by the U.S. government as deliberate provocations to try to goad the Iranians into an excessive response that might then justify an American invasion."
These are not conspiracy theorists saying this - this is the opinion of the policy elite of the US.

"US interests" was economic domination of the region and the world.

while i agree they shouldnt be doing this stuff, sarcastic and amusing cartoons are only spreading anti-americanism among americans, instead of focusing on changing the bad policy.

""US interests" was economic domination of the region and the world. "

This is the goal of every world power in the history of humanity, why is it that America is taking flack for it? Everything we've done has been run by the UN, and even when they deny us and we still go ahead nobody says or does anything about it.
    Why?
Because the advantages of these actions outweigh the losses to the UN rep.s
it's the way it is, and the way it always has been.
so unless these animators are writing a bill instead of comics, they have no room to criticize.
But if they're anti-american communists, then their goal of spreading dissent is successful.
I only have one dimple. It's made me bitter

    Is Wall Street "America"?

If so, I guess I might qualify as an "anti-American communist".
