apparently,although the scientific world is sceptical,that a man regrew a finger tip after the stump was treated with a collagen powder made from a pigs bladder.if this is real,wow!

Fingertips regrow naturally if the portion that was removed is less than a certain amount. Although they say it was down to the bone on this particular injury. A relative of mine lost a fingertip down to the top of the bone fairly recently. Maybe this opens up the prospect of them growing it back.

I recall a teenage boy regrew the tip of his finger, from just above the knuckle. It was back in the early eighties.
