If everything is free, and everything comes from volunteer work: why would people work? How would you deal with those who only know how to consume, and don't have the DESIRE to produce anything but offspring?

Peoples would work for the same reason they work now, to make a better life. It is also a question of doing a job they like to do. For each job there is a guy who likes to do this job. It is just a matter of orientation. I thing that peoples would consume reasonably.

The thing is this kind of system would not require a strong faith in God or the belief that you would be rewarded at a later time. It would need to be based on faith in humanity, and humans by nature are capitalist. Everything humans do is to support and protect the individual, society is just an extreme evolution of the herd mentality.
Society works because a large proportion of people don't get to do the jobs they would like to do. If people were left to chose what they wanted to do we may make great leaps in the arts and science but who is going to chose to work in factory or clean up garbage or work in construction? I'm not saying that these are not worthwhile jobs but how many factory workers would rather be painters or writers.
People may consume reasonably but it would not stop them accusing others of greed.
It seems that God has a communist manifesto, and unfortunately humans don't make good communists, to my knowledge no country has chosen to live as a communist society.
