Deceived and struck with "blindness" might be a better description of those with any religion.

I would have to say 'yes' and 'no':
If aliens made contact, just contact, religions would survive. The existence of aliens doesn't nullify people's need for religious faith.

However, aliens assimilation MIGHT destroy our religions by replacing them with different religions.

I voted no. Most religions would not survive. I have no doubt that their sharing of knowledge would blow a lot of religious ideas out of the water causing enough followers to abondone their...sinking religious ship...

Must Religions are based on extra terrestrial believes, even Jesus said to Pilot , My kingdom is not from this World"
He told his disciples, You are from down here ,Iam from above.
Yaheveh is God and he is from above, so are the angels, so why would religion change their mind about anything ?

God did not create religion ... all religions of the world created with one purpose: to steal a man's soul ... all religions have been created by Satan just for this purpose ... the main source of energy empire of Satan is the energy received by the burning of souls of people of the Earth. To ensure this, Satan created a whole system, giving a present from the Earth about 80 souls per month, equivalent to almost 5000 tons of uranium. If you burn the soul, then when it released energy equivalent to burning 60 tonnes of uranium ...

Immediately? No. People would deem the visitors of Satan or demons before they would ditch their faith, esspecially older people more set in their ways and very closed minded. They would likely see the fallout of people who are close to on the fence about the issue and flip out and say the ETs are here by Satans hand, and are here to test people faith and lead them astray. You would immediately see a divide in humanity, the reasonable, and the idiotic religious people on the other side.

This also depends on which kind of contact we would receive. Should it be just a radio signal hello... Well of course not although it would certainly shake peoples faiths in some areas, such as the Quran which states man is the apex of creation from any world(or something like that). If it is the first contact I want to see and have been shown by my contacts, no, most religion would not last and/or would be very revised. Things like Buddhism more based on philosophy than hardcore beliefs like all who dont embrace christ goto hell will survive. Things like Islam and Christianity will suffer very hard fallouts quite quickly, and within a few generations after first contact if the ETs are truthful with how they were made, and also gave us their own philsophies they would have almost no followers left and it would be seen as stuff from the past ages of human idiocy and part of our growing process.

The Nordics have told me religious people will be the biggest problem with first contact. They will see it as a threat to religion, and if ETs are honest instead of treading lightly, their views will be seen as attacks on modern religions that are very biased and unreasonable and downright stupid. The youth will likely abandon their religions their parents conditioned them into. The parents and older people will likely take their religions to their deaths and harbor ridiculous negative views of the ETs. Groups like the Vatican will be ridiculously yammering and scheming to keep followers. Likely employing places like disney to brainwash kids with pro catholic propaganda, as well as a paid infiltration of MSM and TV shows. It wont work though... Just will be embraced by those who already have bias to confirm their screwed up views.

I have witnessed how an ET would talk to a hardcore christian in one of my simulations. They were no longer christian after very powerful words by the ET within like 20 minutes. Some wouldn't be convinced though due to paranoic thoughts of are they trying to mislead me, are they with Satan, and fear of going to hell if they resist. Christians may be more inclined to switch beliefs and keep in the back of their mind a message to Jesus saying "I still embrace you if i die" etc. Although Islam will likely have violent people very much so resisting the fallout of their belief system. Due to their extremely negative views of people who convert from their religion to others. So Islam will likely hold out longer than Christianity, also due to them not having as many TVs and internets.

As for religion itself rather than established religion, it will surely survive. The nordics tell me science eventually overtakes religion and can answer every question you have in a logical way. They say there is more than enough evidence of the creator(s), and also methods of scientifically discovering the soul, and other big things such as chakras.

I voted no, because modern religion will not last long after a true global cosmic introduction. Ones such as buddhism will be seen a valuable still and historical assets. Ones such as Islam and Christianity will be seen as quite ridiculous and a "how the **** could they believe that garbage" not long after first contact.

Sure they would. It's not like fact and reason play a great part in a lot of blind faith.
